i am shocked he is in and i am not touched by his singing and it does not go in my heart.

yeah he looks innocent but singing is BAD!!!

BTW...he is not FG Vetran.... he was not selected in FG...he only sang one song to get entry into FG...

He is a trained singer...but i don't really like his personality... I hope that changes.....

ravi is our family friend... and as for personality.. he is a damn sweet guy.. and he can sing.. he has a beautiful voice n hits the notes right..its just... cmon guys honestly, its damn easy to sit behind a bloody tv and judge all the contestants like this... but if any of u wer put up ther infront of the whole world..ud prolly be worst..and so wud i... it takes guts and courrage and we all screw up..i do admit, ALOT of contestants are better then him and he wont b idol or nething..but he did deserve to come this far in the contest.. and he needs to work on his personality on stage.

Ok tina for you I will hear him once more. You really a family friend? But what to do Kshitij was better than him that day so he should have made itinstead of Ravi. Even Kshitij is performing in front of whole junta but came out better than Ravi. sorry. 😳

Tina, Ravi sang rather poorly in the piano round, but after the results were announced when he was asked to sing the same song he sang it really well. He almost sounded like Suresh Wadkar who originally sang that song and is his mentor. Thats the only time I liked his singing, he also sang badly in FG. If he is in the race to become an Indian Idol he needs to be able to perform in front of a large crowd and cameras. W

i totally agree wtih you , the second time he was better.

If you look closely to ravi, then you will find that he always has orthodox expressions which are quite boring, he sings a little well then what we saw in the piano round. He was definetely better the second time he sang it.

If you have the vide and look at it again in the theatre round, he was shown singing "Huzur is kadar bhi na ikra ke chaliye", with parleen, just for 15 sec, and he was definetely better there.

But there are a couple of things, he was definetely not better then kshitij on that day and he also does not have the personality of idol. He seems to sing the same songs which he teaches in the class.

i agree with everything esle u guys have said.. and how he shud b more confident n he sang better the 2nd time.. and i think its yet too early to deciede who we want to be idol i mean..we havnt seen everyone properly yet and NOW they start getting training... so some of them cud get alot better then we expect..but.. i dont get one thing..whats wrong with singing songs that u teach in class? i mean..its about what ur good at right now... so wudnt u try and sing something ur more experianced with.
