Its all a stunt to make money! Although who cares, I'm willing to put up with two terrible Tia performances if it means two heavenly Sreeram performances. 😍

yup...I don't think Sony gives a damn about who wins or loses as long as money keeps pouring in,,,,and in absence of any good reality shows II is attracting viewers specially the youth.....summer hols are adding icing on the cake too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!....

Hence am not surprised with this decision ...

so balle balle for Sony ...but for us mere mortals ....God knows how many shocks await us !!!!!!!!!!!!

This innovation is something interesting. I hope it brings some fair results. It can be justified as well as unjustified. We just have to wait and watch for the results episode now. No Spoilers this time, thank GOD. Hahaha. Thanks for the topic BB.

The change has to somewhere do with Shashi's untimely elimination...

Some of the reasons that i can think of are as follows:

1. The producers want to churn more money! Extending the voting period means much MORE votes....more money...!

2. The elimination episode was always prerecorded and mostly people knew the results much prior to the episode....leaving very few viewers for the Monday episode....This way they maintain the surprise value of the elimination till the very last moment....thus an increase in TRPs....another money spinner😉

3.People get to hear two performances before the elimination...Leading to higher probability of a fair result!

I think overall it seems like a positive step....

p.s: I thought of it from all angels but still could not find any connection with Tia whatsoever 😆

With fewer contestants in the show, of course the SMS pool is drying up. No more votes coming in for Vishwas, Meghna, Arpita, Manisha, Shashi - so that has to be made up for, hasn't it? Nahin toh channelwalon ko paise kahan se milenge?

So they extend the voting period, and more SMS's come their way! Yay!
