Great singing by Sadhna Sargam!

Just nice and smooth, on a song, that was not easy to sing. There was a lot of subtle things she had to do with her voice throughout the song. And there were many places throughout the song I really liked her singing.

I really liked the wavy behavior she did with her voice right after the 1st main verse. That is very difficult and and very skillful. There were a lot of pitch exchanges throughout the song as well. But she maintained her consistency, constantly giving great tune to the song. I particularly also liked her post-main sequences, when she goes a little in lyrics like

Mehake Meri Saanson mein
Teri Khushaboo Saajan
Manse Man Ka Rishta Na Tute Koi Kaaran

the bolded parts were well sung. This sequence comes later in the song too.

Overall, great singing by Sadhna Sargam this round. This song had the difficulty present, the classical touch, and Sadhna just handled everything very well. Just the only thing that is preventing it to be a 10/10, is the song could've had a little more feel and expression. I mean, from a pure singing POV, this is 10/10, but just lacked a little feeling.

@ Paras; neele neele ambar par is actually Kalyan ji Anand ji's creation for the film Kalakar ; Ilaya Raja liked it so much that he asked to share the copy right of this song.

But may others claim the story is the other way round but this song is cross culture song (sort of). Read this

So I don't see how that has a big effect at all. 3/5 new judges, and of the 2 returning, 1 of them was me! And the scores are different anyways.

Sajna Ji Vaari Vaari is definately one of Sunidhi's best. I mean the one picked was also good, but Sajna Ji Vaari Vaari is good AND a hit. That's the difference.

I'm glad 'I wanna make love to you was chosen' because I have a new song on my like list. 😃

It's a very good composition by HR, I must say...

Lyrics by Sameer - I think I'd mentioned in the 'Yaar Mere Yaara Mere Yaaram' song that he should stop writing lyrics. Sigh...

I rate this song an 10/10.
I really like this song. It's almost flawless. Plus, I love the way Sadhna puts in the expression into every song of hers.. coming to this song, she was simply amazing!(as always ofcourse)
Urm, I have pretty much nothing to comment, everything is just THERE in the song. The technicality-wise, expression-wise - brilliant!

Oh!!! OK I didnt know that story 😊 ...anyway thanks for the info and the links make a good read...I may be wrong but the tamil movie I mentioned was released in 1982 and kalakaar featuring the song 'Neele Neele Ambar par' was released only in 1983!
