A brilliant track to start the day with!

Composed By Kaartik Raja, Eldest Son of legend Illayaraja, this track comes across as refreshing, innovative, intuitive and at the same time, sadhnaji's singing acts as a blessing in disguise adding immense pleasure.

She is back with a bang, and what a sargam!

This track is a soft classical retro inspired and requires a perfect blend of clarity of voice while singing at lower notes, plus correct timing of sur while going for voice modulation and adding half a scale higher in between verses. All this accomplished brilliantly by sadhna.

Lets start with the beginning. The raag alaap is superb, with the background harmonium being played equally brilliantly. Her voice sounds pretty rustic, at times sweet, adds to sheer brilliance of the composition.

Expressions are another high point of this wonderful track. The way feelings are added to the song makes it an immense pleasure to listen. She just sings right from her heart par excellence.

The most important aspect-understanding what you are doing-is taken care of as well. Just experience the clarity of voice-without losing in the all important quality-sounds brutal. You understand what she sings and go deep into the feel.

Going in te middle part, this track scores another new high with brilliant use of synthesizers and light beats adding to the overall mood. And sadhna's scale variation reeks of quality. Another brilliance.
The smooth, suave and clean ending of this track is another bonus. Softly sung yet with a hint of clarity, this track could be perhaps sadhnaji's best yet. Its that bloody good.

Just listen to it and you will not get bored, but will appreciate the inner attention to detail that she has put into it.

Sheer brilliance gets a 9/10.👏

Yup I think it's in Kalyan thaat too (don't want to suggest the raga 😆) and if I'm not wrong, the words 'Dil Mera Ek Tara' are in 'N-R G----RGG

Anyway, the singing is perfect and flawless. And again, Sadhanaji's grasp on the notes is second to none. The aakaar taans are just stunning.

Thankfully, here the scale was appropriate for her and she was able to focus on expression too.

Kavitaji had just a bit more going on in her song in terms of technique and feel, so Sadhanaji can't get a ten on ten. But when you hear such brilliance like in 'Dil Mera' or 'Yeh Dil', these marks and polls seem so petty. I'm just awed by the greatness of both these singers.

9/10

Haven't heard this song before, pleasant singing. Expressions are sweetly entangled, voice goes very smoothly with the track. In some parts I felt strain in the voice. Throw could have been better and more pronounced. Overall, a really nice performance.

I would like to give an 8 out of 10.

Actually that is just the style of the singing that was required.

and this all time hit by Jatin Lalit which saw them rising in Hindi film music. Sadhna's voice stands out alone. Use of several instruments like madal and african flute over Indain flute immediately reminds of Pancham style of music making.
