One of Kavita's best. Many variations throughout the song Kavita shows. Excellent singing. A song that will be remembered, and this is the song when you immediately think of Salman and Aishwariya.

The best. Or nothing. Unlike any other.

Sounds good? Isn't it?

Its bloody good, you want to listen to this. Again. and again. and over and over again.
Because , like its a one way love. It just never screams. Just grows deeper.

Astonishing piece of music by Ismail Durbaar. A fusion of Indian classical with a hint of sufiana. Mesmerizing.

Kavitaji makes a dramatic comeback. As the game progresses, she too gets better, and better, for the best.

Lets start.
The first line. Low pitching. Voice modulation up and down with amazing raag alaap, then the notes go high. Perfection.

Middle-the feel, and loads of it. Kumar Sanu compliments her well. Two verses sang superbly, amazing duet and voiceovers. Perfect.

Peak. Tempo. Varying. Voice-sweet as a honey, the higher she goes, the better and better it gets.
Perfect.

High point? the way she expresses her smile at the end. And you have a pleasurable track which not only sounds pleasing to your ears, but also refreshes your mind.

Perfect? Why not? Not only dangerously close, but exceeds the limits.

Deserves nothing less than a 10. Why? just LISTEN to it and get a feel of it. Surely, you will love the high attention to detail put by ismail in this track. Just astonishing.

kavita was simply brilliant in the song... the way she sung it, with a lot of masti and sharaarat... thanks for choosing this song...!

Wow I love this song. One of my classic favorites! The starting of the song is so beautiful. And Kavita's ji's singing close to flawless.

Kumar ji compliments her voice so well. The way he started the beginning. So bang on!

The expressions put forth by both singers are so strong. There is so much softness in this song but at the same time its like a mischievous song that only one can come to conclude if the singers put that emphasis in their singing. Both singers bring that element into their singing.

I love all the small variations thrown in by Kavita ji in the middle portion of the song. It really brought out some effect in the song!

The second half of the song, where Kavita ji sung the majority of portions was so beautiful. She had great breath control and really showed the expressions that were needed to get the real feel of the song. I was easily able to connect with it!

We are approaching the finale of this competition. Now all the singers are striving to give out their best songs of all times. Its really going to be such a tough race. Even for us judges its just going to get so harder as we really have to give the song deep though before coming up with a final rating.

My scores may not be as high as I want them to be only because we are at that stage where every little thing counts! These singers have already made a name for themselves. They don't need to win such a competition to prove themselves. So please do forgive my ratings. But I just really got get down to judging them all strictly now that we've reached somewhat near the end here!

So for this song, Kavita ji did awesome singing it. I just felt that there could have been more singing. It was a short song and Kumar ji had quite a sig part in it. But still taking everything into consideration and only because we need to take one step higher with the ratings...My final rating is going to be an 8. Otherwise this song is really a 9 because Kavita ji really nailed it for the most part, but now every little detail is going to count for EVERY singer. And I mean EVERY singer.

Lovely lovely start to the round! Kavitaji is unbeatable in all songs in this movie, be it the lively Nimbooda, the poignant title song or this teasing number! 👏

She does everything right here...yet again I must say ... No doubt her singing is of the usual high standard we can expect from her but her expressions in this song merit a special mention! Just WOW!

Kumar Sanu starts beautifully with some controlled soft singing and then Kavitaji joins him and together they take the song to another level! 😍

Some small points -
When she sings 'sharm-o-haya' - the way she goes from low to high here ... just exquisite!

The first antara is sung by Kumar Sanu but she does leave her mark with the humming, the soft alaap ... wow again!

Then she varies her expressions so beautifully in the 2nd antara, when she sings 'in saanson ko aap ki hi zaroorat rahegi' u can feel the ache in her heart and then she switches to teasing again with 'is dil ki naadaniyan'

And the way she ends with 'Sharm-o-haya maaf ho' ... again lovely, simply ethereal!

And by this time I too was floating somewhere in the ether 😍 and came down with a crash when my desk phone rang 😆😛 ... am serious here 😳 this did happen 😊

And undoubtedly this song reminds me of Salman and Aishwarya and the fab chemistry they shared in this movie and specially this song!
A full 10/10 from me! 👍🏼

Brilliant singing by Kavitaji!

It's just every round she does great. Never disappoints. Shows her amazing talent. I think in this entire competition, she is either the 1st or 2nd most talented singer. Still debating.

She has great variations in her singing, great expressions, her singing is just perfect, it's just amazing what she can do with her voice. I especially liked how she finished the song. Very strong finish. From great control of tempo, to great grasp on her high pitches. Not at all in easy song to sing, so many variations and different ways you have to sing. Actually, I'd say this was one of the most difficult in the whole competition.

Overall, great singing. I think I've complimented her enough. I'm more strict grading this round. I would like to give this a 9.5, it was almost a 10, if she maybe sang a little more. But since I'm strict, I'm rounding down.

woww ..another superb song which will stay with u forever ...beautifully rendered by a legendary singer Kavitaji ....intricacies involved ...harkate and murkiyas have been taken by Kavitaji effortlessly ...and the expressions ??....Flawless ...will be regarded as one of the best duets in the history of bollywood music...Kudos to Ismail Darbarji too for composing such a beautiful romantic number 👏 ....

Feel, sur, emotions, pitiching everything perfect ...

so what else but a perfect ................................................................................10!!!!
