Abhishek Bachchan fails to attend Indian Idol'

Abhishek Bachchan who was expected to turn up to promote his latest flick Raavan on popular reality show Indian Idol, has failed to attend the show on Wednesday. According to the reports, his plan was changed at the last minute and he would probably make his appearance in coming days.

Earlier, it was reported that Abhishek Bachchan will be shooting with Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan, Salim Merchant and the contestants of Indian Idol-5. It was also stated that he will be interacting with the contestants expressing his views on their performances and oblige them with autographs.

In a recent days, the promotion of movies through television has grown remarkably. As it is believed that the small screen is a perfect medium to grab the attention of the audience. The latest trend in film promotion is using Sony TV's music reality show 'Indian Idol-5'. Recently, films like Badmash Company, Houseful and Raajneeti have used the 'Indian Idol-5' as a platform to promote their films.
