Well, the harmonic synchronization of instruments and voice, in this kind of composition, the finishing of the phrase with some Khanak in voice and the throw of voice is very important. Mahalaxmi ji's finishing in the beginning wasn't very good. This took some feel and energy from the song. But as the song reached its last minute, the singing improved.
Otherwise it was just going plain and flat.
Also somewhat, the voice didn't suit the song much.
The first Antara is not really peppy. Overall the song didn't catch that peppiness which is very much required in the song. If the throw and control would have been powerful enough then the song cud've been better, as the song lacked the power which was its most important feature of this song.

Well unfortunately the format doesn't have space for so many judges. So Aman is a part of the audience for now. Plus he came made the effort to come here coz I asked him for a favour - if he has the time to do this every two days then he'll make a great judge! For now, he's just a very knowledgeable audience member whose points I follow closely ...

Okay, this song sucks.


Another singer who usually does not sing fast songs. This is an up-pace song. Mahalaxmi also prefers slow sensual songs, which this song is just not. Her voice quality was good throughout, that's always good. There were some parts that made the singer in a slightly higher pitch, but most part it was pretty easy singing.

The post-main sequence Mahalaxmi got to do some of her type of singing, where she was a little better.


But overall, an easy track, she had great voice quality, and there were some small parts where she showed some of her skill, but not for the most part. Pretty good overall though.

Hhhmmmm...haven't heard this song before..

I felt that Mahalaxmi's voice is too sweet and soft for this song. She tries to keep in tune with the song. In parts her voice was shaking, as a strain was felt. It was not effortless singing. Pronunciation and Expressions are okay. There are parts which could definitely could have been sung better. Nothing very impressive about the singing here, it is just plain and simple. As such no variations were applied, it failed to create an impact.

My score for this song, will be 6 out of 10.
