Disagreed.If a person can't speak or understand a language It is possible to learn few words of that language for the sake of learning and learning few words doesn't make u proficient in that language.It is possible for a person to make the mistake while speaking in general as that is not a part of learning.

I find it insulting and offensive for making these type of snide remarks for someone whose 1st language is not Hindi...As long as Arpita can sing hindi songs does not matter whether she has the gender right or not while talking...As long as she has no issue with Diction while singing....

You should hear my hindi...

Angel u are sweet angel...Wish more people were like u....So mature at very young age.....

An Australian-Indian friend of mine is a big Rafi fan..sings all his songs in impeccable hindi but cannot speak hindi to save her life. But when she sings, she rocks👍🏼

Lata mangeshkar could sing Bengali songs flawlessly but I do not think she knows how to speak it .

Likewise I know many hindi-speaking people living for decades in Kolkata but never learn the first person second person third person change of verbs in Bengali .

Arpita genuinely seems like she is struggling with the language. Why be so hard on her? As long as it doesn't show in her performances, then what's the problem?
