What I DID have a problem with was when in your FIRST REPLY to Brahmabul you tried to say something like 'all parents would do the same'. And when iin your SECOND REPLY (this time to me) you were trying to hammer into everyone that Yashraj got through his second audition because of talent, I thought that was irrelevant.

I think you've misunderstood me on the second reply.
Because I meant to say he got in NOT ONLY because his dad did that.
Because even in second chance if he didnt sing well, its bye bye for him right ?
He got the second chance because of his dad. But he got in because of his voice.

Man, I will seriously kick the guy's ass if he goes on and sings really bad.
I hv never disscussed/argued about/for anyone else this much before.
better be worth it

I don't want to argue with or change your beliefs/values because you VALUE them. I don't want to offend you that way.

But in MY opinion, I thought the begging WAS cheap. Because the father and son looked very pathetic and undignified doing what they did. Neither of them could take the judges' verdict like a man and instead they turned into babies. Circumventing the rules so childishly and pathetically is cheap in my opinion.

When I do an exam, sometimes I run out of time at the end. I could cry, beg and create a scene. The teachers will probably have pity on me and give me some extra time (I would do that if I were a teacher in that situation) because it is embarassing to see a full grown man act in such a way. The judges were forced to give him another chance because of the same feeling of uneasiness and embarassment.

Since its OK for both of you that you if someone's parents beg to achieve their child's dream...I think this is were it all ends.

Of course no one would want their parents to beg..it's quiet logical lol. So ur telling me Yash Raj requested his dad to beg? NO one would let their parents to beg common lol.
And his father beg not b/c his son told him to do so but b/c he felt that his son was weak and he knew he won't be able to give his best b/c he was tired and worn out. That's call love. A love from parents toward their chidlren. It's just an example of how far or till what extent a parents can go for their children happiness nothing more than that 😊

I think that should end the discussion regarding what you feel on one's dad begging for second chance for his son. Its depends upon person to person. And I m with Brahmbul in this matter.

😆 Yeah I could see what you meant by your second post. (I even said that Yashraj passed his second chance due to talent) BUT why did you bring that up?

So what if he passed his second chancedue to talent? The cheap act (imo) was to beg in the way they did in order to get the second chance. What they do with that second chance doesn't change how cheap (imo) that begging was. So bringing in that thing about how he got through the second chance due to talent is irrelevant.
