well...maybe its too early to experiment..she might be scared of losing out on votes if the audience dont like the modified version..sometimes modified versions can go horribly wrong..i remember at the IPL rockstars show,Aneek Dhar and Rahul(forgot the surname) added so many harkatein to some Sukhwinder song that it became unrecognizable...although the judges loved the modifications,as an audience,i felt the sweetness and simplicity of the song was lost.its taxing to hear harkatein and taan in every line..which is why the mass audience prefer the "easy to listen to" songs more than Classical music.maybe Manisha is trying to relate to the masses more...after all they are the ones who are gonna vote, not the judges.if anyone remembers SaReGaMaPa 2008 some singer from Himesh's gharana sang "Signal Pyar Ka Signal" from the movie Bhagam Bhag in a weird classical style.the result was awful and even Himesh didnt have much to say in his favor after the performance.

Hey anonymous -- I don't mind Manisha singing just like the artist of the song until she's amazing with the surs and taal and performance.. 🤔 maybe she'll come up with variations in the future and besides, the song that she sang was pretty tough one.. 😳
Lets see if she'll do any variations, but she is like the best with what she is doing right now..
