From thousands of hopefuls, the number was narrowed down to 117 and finally to 17.
So who are these youngsters? Patcy N finds out at the launch of the top 17 on Thursday in Mumbai where each contestant sang.
In this video we have Asit Kumar from Bengaluru singing Pehli Nazar Mein from the film Race originally sung by Atif Aslam, Vishwas Rai from Allahabad singing Badan Pe Sitare Lapete Hue from the film Prince originally sung by Mohamed Rafi, Tia Kar from Mumbai singing Mehboob Mere from the film Fiza originally sung by Sunidhi Chauhan (who also happens to be one of the judges of the show) and Meghna Kumar from Jhansi singing Mahi Ve from the film Kaante sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Richa Sharma.[
