Restrictions on Live Performance:


Well there isn't much really. It can be on any song or songs. Just 1 performance. One that has played in this competition ,or one that hasn't. It can even be a song that isn't even of the singers. As long as the singer has sung it live, then it is acceptable.

And the other thing is, this live performance must've been within the past 20 years. Not too hard.



So really not much restrictions on live performance, as long as the singer has sung it, it's good.

Judges Round is over!!!

This time the unfortunate singer to get eliminated is Kavita. She had a strong score of 9.0, that is almost always a Top 3 score, but unfortunately as warned, the competition level in the Judges Round is very high. Thus, it was not good enough.

Nontheless, she had a strong run in this competition. Finishing #1 multiple times, behind just Shreya Ghoshal in most #1 finishes. She had many great hits in this competition including,

For the Final Round, I had in plan for what I believe her strongest work. It was Kavita giving it her best at what she does best. Now that's a deadly combination. Though not a popular song, from a singing standpoint, I don't know if ANY singer would've been able to match it. Get a good pair of headphones and listen!

Phew - that judges round was fun lol

Anyway, Kavitaji is a great singer and is a winner in my eyes. My original choice for the judges round was the more popular 'Maar Dala' song as recommended by RA but I wanted to share a song I like and which other people may not have heard before. Risky strategy. And I caused her downfall.

Congrats to all 3, and especially Shreya Ghoshal for achieving a score that was thought impossible to get. Amazing job, and that will probably stand as the highest ever forever! 👏 Overall though, very high scoring round!
