i too was absolutely gutted when Rajdeep got eliminated......after Prasenjit's ouster i persisted with this show only in the hope that Rajdeep would make it.......but alas thats not to be......😭.......i guess thats the fate of every season of Indian Idol.......the most deserving is never the winner.......

Coming to the top 3.........i personally think none of them are deserving of the title........its very well that Kapil is '' humble & cute '' as some people put it, Sourabhee is a great performer and Torsha has a '' unique '' voice BUT all of them are lacking in the most important skill i.e SINGING.........in my opinion if you are not a good surila singer then you don't deserve to win a singing competition........and i don't buy the excuse that Indian Idol is not for classically trained singers....😕.....ability to perform, presentable personality can all be cultivated but you've GOT TO SING WELL to win.

Anyways its all a moot point now.........now to me it doesn't matter who wins or loses......😔

Thanks, Swan. I agree, all three are lacking in their singing, but that's all we have now. Singers like Rajdeep, Ananya, Shini, Prasonjit, and if we go way back, then that sufi singer Ali, these are the kinds of contestants that we need to come to the finale. Unfortunately, that's not the case, and as much as we rant and complain, there's absolutely nothing we can do about it.

I don't agree. I was very upset when Shini went out, when Bhavya went out. I simply wasn't active/or didn't have time to make such a topic. Numerous were made though. Labeling people as sexist, as racist, and whatever else just incites more controversy.

But honestly, I knew that Shini wasn't going to make it to the finale --- voting patterns were against her, for whatever reason, not my call.

Rajdeep's ouster was the most horrific and shocking for me, and I'm still extremely upset. From this season, a proper finale would've been Rajdeep-Prasanjit or Rajdeep-Shini/Bhavya/perhaps Ananya (although she was kicked off to early in the show for me to judge)

loved the detailed analysis on all the 3 remaining contestants (much to my dismay)

Kapil - i admire him as a person, but i don't know much about his singing..

Sourabhee - well, more balanced act.. average to say the least.. but between the three of them, i'd say it is her..

Torsha - she has a good voice but i her attitude is a major put off, and so is her besurapan.. sorry, that is just my own view but she needs to get her act together.. i am sure she will do well later on.. she has a great voice, but she really needs to use it well.. let's see if she gets her act together or not in time.. at least i will read about it here..

my prediction.. it will be Kapil's exit next and then we can have an 'all girls' finale.. and some people will jump up and down with 'about time'.. and Sonali's annoying speech 'a girl has won.. i was saying this from day one'.. ufffffff... 🥱

My prediction ... Torsha will be kicked off next (if there's an elimination)... and Kapil will take the crown, while Sonali is left wailing and tearing her fake hair extensions out, claiming a girl has to take the title, but hey, that's just me.

Question -- Doesn't the finale consist of THREE singers this season? So that means no more eliminations?

I dont think there is more elimination round. This years its gonna be like Sa re ga ma style finale. I dont think Kapil (doesnt deserve) will win . Sourabee is clear favorite as she got both talent and regional backup.

Well said WA.Some people posses venom and no matter what they will pour that venom on the balance and analytical posting too. Definitely there was hue and cry when Ananya and Shini was eliminated and since it happened in early round it was not as bigger scale as with Rajdeep Elimination. When they were eliminated people thought okay there are few more talent like Prasenjeet and Rajdeep are left, Hence those huge and cry was soft. After Rajdeep's elimination there wasnt anyone ( Sourbaee to some extent) who could be justify Indian Idol title. Hence there was more noise when Rajdeep was eliminated.

none of the 3 desrve to be top 3 ! its a mess true! happens if you have such judges who dont know to select good singers and praise the average ones more than necessary !

Why are you guys worriying about it that much? If rajdeep had won this show (or in my case prasenjit), what difference would it have made? It would be good just for your own satisfaction, that the person YOU liked WON... But come to the real world... Things like this just happen get over it please..

This point got lost somewhere but it is very valid and true indeed.

First thing people need to do is to decide why they want to watch this show!! If it doesn't go the way you want it to go ..... well then these things just happen ..... Using it as a medium of belting out your anger is fine too but mostly useless .....
