Pitch correction/Autotune in Indian Idol 15

This year the makers of the show are using a huge amount of pitch correction/autotune in the mic. Isn't it like cheating with the audience.

The did not even spare the judges, when Shreya was education Ayushman, her voice felt very strange.

I don't know if this is a fair play or not?
