But gotta say I was fangirling so hard

Okay so i must say I freaking loved every bit of it. Sure there were jumpy edits but it was such a treat to watch Anand-Milind. Glad to see Indian Idol is finally bringing such legends.

Such humble people...and their families seems lovely. Beautiful wives and beautiful daughters

Coming to the performances:

Utkarsh: Loved it. O Rabba had to be my favourite He did full justice to it.

Muskaan: She's the best female imo. That Juhi Chawla QSQT getup was adorbs And she sang so well! I could very well imagine her voice on the original song.

Shubhodeep: The contrast between his two songs was very drastic and he delivered. He really has that hero waali voice quality which Udit Narayan had back in the day. Even the Yaman Kalyan Chota Khayal performance was amazing. I think he's gonna win, given how he got to present classical and all today...and I won't complain if he does.

Anjana: These are the types of songs that really work on her. Such peppy, melodically strong numbers. She delivers too.

Mahima: I feel something was off with her feedback because she was singing a few seconds later than the band playing. I really like her voice though, I hope she sticks around. It wasn't the easiest song honestly.

Surrender: Man, I was really surprised by him. They really took a chance alloting Gore Gore Mukhde Pe to him but he was so damn good. My favourite performance of his. This shows he can do wonders with such numbers too.

Adya: Weakest one of the lot. Poornima has a natural flair to her voice and a unique texture that can't be recreated. But Adya even trying to give basic expressions was falling flat. I guess she needs a few more years of training...she is the weakest of the lot.

Todays episode was so good but there was some problem in editing some places. Like Mahima and Utkarsh performance time. Also the tribute part I don’t think they only sang one song.

I am pretty sure Adya is not going so soon. Like the content they are giving to her. First was gundi nature wala content. Also they have content her mom content too with Ananya and I am not saying that story might not be true. Now today they have introduce new story of her with her brother.

My favorite performances are as follows: Utkarsh, Shubhadeep, Mahima and Ananya and Surinder got sabse less screen time and After that Mahima and Utakarsh and I don’t mind about Utkarsh because he did got some screen time last few weeks. But Surinder and Mahima and their song was short and no content for them. So I have a feeling it might be Surinder who’s gonna go home next week because I have been noticing that he doesn’t get screen time as much as others do.

Even though Anjana song was short but she did get some screen after the performance.

Also I am suprised this duo were never called in any show before. They seems to be nice people from their talking coz I don’t know them personally.

Was so glad to see Shekhar in today’s episode!! How I wish Vishal was in this episode just to complete my fave panel of IIJ from years ago. I wasn’t too familiar with Anand-Mind apart from QSQT songs.

Surinder - he’s my least fave of the lot but he did a great job with the song he had.

Shubhadeep - another great performance! I hadn’t heard the first song ever, but he sounded great. The second song was great as well! (I have not heard that one either lol)

I loved the commentary that Shreya and Shekhar were giving when they were discussing that Raag it was cute. The song that he sang was amazing! Idk if it’s an original composition or it was done before but it was amazing I want to download it.

Anjana - I know the forum isn’t much of a fan of hers but she’s one of my faves and she did a great job and was having too much fun with the performance which elevated it for me. And it was probably scripted but I LOVED the way Shekhar recognized her it was so cute!

Adya - she had a great performance last week but something was off again this week. Maybe her voice doesn’t suit this song. Idk if she’s going soon because she’s viral in a lot of reels (her and Menuka are the ones I see all the time) I do anticipate her being like Neha Kakar in the future where she won’t win the show but she will have a career just due to her unique voice .

I’ve noticed they’ve upped the sob stories lately. Last week they had Vaibhav talk about his mom and now Adya and her brother.

Utkarsh - Aye Mere Humsafar is one of my fave songs and he did such a splendid job! I didn’t know which the second song was but it sounded amazing I had to download it right after I heard it.


Ananya - my fave performance of the episode she did an awesome job! The scale was a little slower from the original song in Gazab Ka Hai but she did a great job. Even Akele Hai she sang splendidly. Shreya’s right that she has a very crystal clear voice.

Mahima - not her best performance IMO after that Jeena Yahan performance it’s hard for her to top it

I really enjoyed today's episode.

Shubhadeep, Utkarsh, Mahima, Muskaan and Ananya were superb this time around.

I don't know why but I am not feeling for Anjana and Adya right now, I just don't know why.

Muskaan didn’t perform yesterday. That was Ananya.

It was such a fun episode Obom is improving and Sure he will go to final and Utkarsh addressing Menuka as isko isne still weird to me.

My favorite performance would be Menuka, Piyush, Obom and Dipan

I think if they do top6 3 girl bad 3 boys like last season if not there has to be two girls atleast because I know Menuka would be one of the finalist and there has to be one girl to help her if needed.

It’s just my prediction so this might not come true. From guys it would be Shubhadeep, Obom and might be Piyush Vaibhav or Dipan. From girls Menuka, Anjana, and third girl might be Ananya, Adya or Muskaan.

Today all the performances were amazing however, Piyush was my absolute favourite followed by Vaibhav and Obom.

Just heard Utkarsh yesterday, missed the rest of the episodes and what a singer he is!! Absolutely loved it!! Took me back to the 90’s. I could actually picturized Madhuri Dixit while he sang.
