About confirmed declaration videos the way they put video and talk about the elimination so convincingly sometimes it's just difficult not to believe. Even some news articles do the same. Not sure what enemity they have with SMP. 😥😥😥

No no Arunita should not get into it right now. Also she's not the right person to become a judge at this stage. She has knowledge and capabilities but she should gain more experience as a singer to be at that place. Its just a mony making position.

Better she concentrate on her singing career.

But the best single song performance was by Nihal on Dil mein ho tum saanson mein tum and cute dance and expressions by Arunita enjoying his singing. Please God make this happen ❤️--❤️

It's all because how channel is discriminating between contestants. Anyone will infer same. Pawandeep and Arunitha being highest voted everyone knows they are safe. Danish and Sayali are promoted to the maximum. So the only two left are Nihal and SMP. Unfortunately both come from a non hindi speaking state where Sony TV won't be watched. So they depend mostly on fan base and general audience. General audience will get influenced easily by tactics and drama which these two never do. So obviously next target is one of them.

Might have to disagree slightly here. We have had two Telugu speaking winners in the past - Sreeram and Revanth

The big difference is Sreeram was an absolute status quoist. He was that typical one, singing easy and popular songs and playing along with the makers.

Revanth, I don't know much as I did not really follow Idol 9 much

Here SMP is a different character altogether. She does not confirm to the stereotype image of a goody goody Lata - Asha type singer. She has created a niche for herself by going with a very different approach to singing, in spite of being a classically trained singer.

And being a girl, will always be trolled and that too very hard. I sometimes doubt, if makers of Idol 12 are in two minds, whether to encourage her or get rid of her!

A simple eg: was, when Nihal just went bonkers with his funny and lovable act during rendition of "Babu samjho ishare" there was so much of appreciation for him on the media channel (youtube). In fact we were all in splits during that act of his

I agree. That's one reason on other thread I desperately want her to migrate from India as soon as she can before her zeal and talent gets killed. The reason Indian music still not making into international charts or Indian singers not getting Grammy or Oscars we never encourage new styles and new approaches. How many years we will keep living on Lathaji-Ashaji moulds. With so much of globalization singers/musicians need to work hard and plan to cross boundaries like ARR. Experiments may fail and it's ok and better than doing nothing and living in old generation times.

II12 makers I can't understand. They know her potential but don't want to acknowledge and go with the flow that's what I think. It's ok in worst case she will face elimination this week.
