Can anybody tell me more about this instrument?

The instrument is called Kazoo. When player vocalized into it it adds a buzzing timbre quality to players voice. It's mainly American based but some singers use it for fusion with classical as well. I guess SMP is going to attempt a fusion. The instrument is not difficult but it needs great vocal skills to play it.

He was my first fav in the show..now it's Aru and he comes second.. he is someone whose performance u love watching..very lively

Kazoo was shown last season too, Jannabi of Season 11 used to play the Kazoo with all her performances.

They means Idol should attempt more of such fusion songs , Bollywood is so horribly outdated, Folk music, Devotional Music, Carnatic music , Western classical should also be attempted. It is Indian Idol and not only Bollywood Idol of the 80's
