I wish they would give the girls different outfits to wear. They are so typecast in similar outfits! It would be nice to see Arunita wear something different than a lehenga choli or whatever that skirt outfit is called!

Even Sayali wears similar outfits each episode.
Same thing with the boys, I guess.
Wonder if the contestants have a choice or it is given to them by the stylists.

Supposedly they dress in accordance to the type of character or assigned profile that they represent irrespective of what they sing. Arunita is good, home loving, mother-caring daughter of India. She will be dressed in traditional conservative (no legs showing) clothes. SMP gets to show her teeny bopper side, legs and all. The luckiest are those that are not profiled. They can wear clothes to suit the song.

She could wear a salwar kameez or something else that’s covering. I am Not expecting to see her in western clothes.
the clothes she is given are really not completely covered! Sure she is not showing her legs but her mid is!

They don’t even give her a chunni to cover!
I am only talking about not having to see her in the same style of clothes.

I think they are afraid to change. What if all those who thought she is bahu material realize that she may be vamp-type instead! All that TRP washed down the drain in one brain-fade stroke ....... 😃
