Love this post Aditi! He truly was one of the most versatile and best singer, his duets with Danish proved it even more. He will truly be missed and I just wish and pray that he has so much success in the coming future ❤️

He didn't get appreciated enough for Pagh ghoongru bandh. Vishal said that Nachiket messed up and he knew where but didn't specify. Neha said she wished Nachiket would've done something "different" but didn't specify. Honestly, what does that even mean?! Only Bappi Da acknowledged his skill by saying he was a top contender for winning the gold chain he had brought that day.

Of course it happens when he sings an upbeat number on a grand scale. It's almost as if the judges cannot appreciate slow melodies, songs with thehrav, or anything related to sufi/ghazal/classical music. Their criteria is basically if the singers dance around, shout and scream to a peppy number, and make the audience/judges dance, then it's a banger performance. There isn't enough recognition or admiration for singers that mesmerize an audience with their emotion-filled slower songs. If there was, then Sireesha, Nachiket, and Anjali would be the top contestants right now. Even Anushka would have gotten a chance to grow and improve. Thankfully Arunita and Sayli getting acknowledged, but I doubt it is purely based on their singing. The amount of public support that they have garnered in a short time probably plays a huge role.

He sang few songs of Suresh Wadkar as well. On those difficult songs Nachiket's performances were mind-blowin. Such a soulful singer he is.

His elimination was shocking for me.

I just rewatched this performance too and the alaaps that Nachiket took were simply superb! His voice was both powerful and soothing. I’d say his alaaps were even better than Danish. This guy was better than so many singers on the show. He truly deserved to go the finale.

P.S. I hope I’m not boring anyone at this point. This is just my attempt at channeling my rage into positivity for the contestants rather than rant about the rest of the show.

Thanks. What I meant was his last performance as both male/female voice and dressed up as male/female in that song?? One side male, other side female. He had to turn around when singing both versions. If it was, then during this performance Neha or Vishal commented he should sing as himself!!!!??? after that he stopped
