Start of episode
Laveena is brainwashing Manisha. She tells her that once a person gets the stamp of a drug addict, they get it for life. She says that look at me, I ran away from home again. Poor Manisha puts her hands to her ears and tries to shut her out. Laveena waving her cigarette in front of Manisha taunts her saying that are you sure you can give up drugs. Manisha pushes Laveena away from her saying that she will overcome her drug addiction because she has promised Beeji and Chandini. Laveena mercilessly goes on that nobody cares for them and has concern for them. She tells Manisha that even Chandini hates you from inside and she is only pretending to be nice because she pities you.
Chandini is sitting in a taxi in the midst of a jampacked street staring worriedly out of the window.
Laveena tells Manisha that even though they are drug addicts, they are happy in their own worlds. But in Chandini's world, things are totally different. Everywhere she walks, people will point out and whisper behind her back that there goes the drug addict's sister. Manisha then says determinedly that she will never let any problem come on Chandini's head and that she will go far far away from her, to another world.
Chandini pays the taxi at Sheeba's place and turns with a smile. She suddenly sees a girl with long straight hair ( it's Manisha ) running and she exclaims to herself, Mini didi! She shouts out Mini didi and Manisha suddenly stops and turns with a scared expression. Manisha and Chandini stare at each other for a few heartstopping moments and then Manisha turns and starts running on the crowded street. Chandini runs after her shouting, ruk jayiye Mini didi. Suddenly a truck's bright headlights confuse Manisha and she turns straight facing the truck. The truck driver doesn't see her and hits her. Manisha is thrown to the side and falls down unconscious.
Meanwhile Beeji is staring worriedly out of the chawl window and wondering why Chandini isn't back with Manisha yet. Romeo who is sitting in the bed says that just like how all girls gossip when they meet each other, maybe the two are so busy talking that they have lost track of time. Beeji agrees and says that whenever the two meet, they lose track of everything else.
A crying Chandini holds an unconscious Manisha in her arms and says to Matharani that I had prayed that when I meet Manisha, I will hold her in my arms and hug her tight. How did I know that I will meet her in such a state and in such a situation.
The scene next shifts to the hospital where a very worried Chandini goes behind Manisha who is on a stretcher. Manisha is wheeled into the ICU. Chandini thinks of what Beeji said that Manisha will be too ashamed to face you in this stage and just give her a little more time to adjust. Chandini curses herself for her stubbornness and blames herself saying that whatever has happened is all her own fault. When the doctor comes out after examining Manisha, Chandini tells him that she is the patient's sister and asks him what is the matter. The doctor replies that Manisha has suffered quite a serious head injury and he has to perform an immediate operation. Chandini pleads with the doctor to do all he can to save Manisha and the doctor assures her he will. He tells Chandini to sign the consent letter for the operation as she is the nearest relative. Chandini signs the form.
Back in the chawl, Beeji is getting worried that Chandini and Manisha haven't come back yet. She fears that Chandini in her josh might have said something to Manisha that might have hurt her feelings. The doctor has told them to behave in a very delicate manner with Manisha and to not upset her. Romeo assures her that though Chandini may be joshila, she is as soft as a candle inside and she will never do or say anything to hurt Manisha's feelings as she loves her a lot. Beeji agrees with him. Just then Chandini comes there. Crying, she is only able to exclaim, Beeji……… Mini didi! Beeji gets scared and exclaims, kya hua Manisha ko?
Back in the hospital, a couple of police come upto the doctor who is examining Manisha and the inspector ask him what is the problem that Manisha Kapoor was brought to the hospital. The doctor says it is a simple case of road accident. But the inspector says it is a police case. Just then the nurse comes upto the doctor and says that they cannot administer anaesthesia to Manisha as there was traces of drugs in her system. The doctor is shocked and asks the nurse if the blood reports were true and the nurse says yes. The inspector demands to know who came with Manisha and the doctor shows him the consent form saying that her sister brought her here. The inspector looks at the form and exclaims, Chandini Kapoor!
In the chawl, Chandini is hugging Beeji and both are crying. Beeji asks Matharani why they are always made to face difficulties like this. Romeo is unable to see the both in such a state and tells them that they have always told him to stay calm and brave during the time of crisis and now they are forgetting their own advice. He says to Beeji whenever anybody in the chawl has any trouble, they always look upto Beeji for advice and if she breaks down like this, what will happen to them. He tells them to be brave and says that there will surely be a way out of these difficulties and assures them that he will always be there to support them. Just then a smiling Vidya comes to the room and says to Chandini that a call has come from her babuji. Chandini and Beeji look at each other shocked!
Chandini goes upto the phone in Vidya's room slowly and picks it up. She can hear Babuji and her mother discussing on the other end. Babuji says to her mother that he is very upset because both Chandini and Manisha haven't called in a long time to enquire about them. Her mother pleads with Babuji to keep quiet for a change as he always has a quick temper. Chandini in a choked voice speaks, Babuji aap bahut nazar hai na? Babuji lights up at Chandini's voice saying that he is not angry at her, just worried that she hasn't called in a long time. He then senses that Chandini is upset and asks her if she is crying. Chandini with tears in her eyes tells her that she is choked up because she hasn't spoken to him in a long time. Then her mother gets impatient with her husband and snatches the phone from him saying that he has spoken enough and now she wants to speak. She asks Chandini to put Mini on the phone as she hasn't spoken to her in a long time. Chandini exclaims, Mini didi! Beeji then takes the phone from her and asks Chandini's mother that will she speak to Beeji for a change. She says that Manisha is on a flight as she has become an airhostess. Chandini's mother exclaims airhostess. Babuji then takes the phone and asks Beeji ki what kind of job is an airhostess; it only means that she is serving food to the passengers. Beeji scolds him saying that Manisha is doing a job which requires a lot of responsibility and that he has to be proud of both his daughters for achieving so much and keeping his name high. She then says bye as it is not right to keep gossiping using another person's phone and puts down the phone.
Chandini tells Beeji that they are telling a lot of jhooth to Babuji and her mother. Just then Tulsi ( Vidya's saas ) comes upto the door and is listening to the conversation. Beeji tells her that sometimes you have to tell lies to protect the other person. She asks Chandini as to what they would have told them – that Manisha is a drug addict and that she is lying in the hospital now? Tulsi is shocked to hear this. Beeji tells Chandini not to worry so much and then putting her arm around Chandini's shoulders leads her out of the room.
Meanwhile back in Jalandhar, Babuji tells his wife that in their zamana, a airhostess job would have been unacceptable. His wife tells him to come out of his zamana and into the present world. She says that we have to be proud of both of our girls because they are standing on their feet independently. They have proved that they are no less than boys. Babuji agrees to this and says that they never talked to Manisha at all. Chandini's mother says that it is already late in the night and also Beeji told them that Manisha would be on the flight. She says that they can always call tomorrow and asks Babuji to go to sleep. Babuji agrees and both go inside the house.
Beeji and Chandini are walking out of Vidya's room when Vidya comes and presses Rs. 2000 in Beeji's hands asking them to use it even though it is a small amount. She says that this is all I was able to save. Beeji declines it, but Vidya is adamant and says that it will come in handy. Beeji accepts it finally. Vidya then says that she will accompany them to the hospital and all three are walking when Vidya's saas stops them. All 3 turn around. Tulsi asks them where they are going and says that even she will accompany them. All 3 are totally surprised on hearing this.
Chandini, Beeji, Romeo, Vidya and Tulsi are walking down the hospital corridor towards the ICU when they meet the inspector outside the ICU. The inspector asks Chandini if she is Chandini Kapoor and when Chandini says yes, he asks her to come to the police station as this is a police case. All are shocked on hearing this. Beeji and Chandini plead with the police saying that her sister is lying critical in the hospital and she can't leave her. But the police is adamant that she come to the station. Romeo says that he will accompany her and both go with the police. Tulsi then whispers to Vidya saying that see this is what we get if we help these people. One girl is lying in the hospital high on drugs and the other is being taken by the police. She says that they will not remain here even for 1 moment. Vidya pleads with her saas to keep quiet saying that they are the only sahara for Beeji and Chandini in this city and if they cannot help them, who will? A pained Beeji who has overheard the conversation tells Vidya to go on home and that she will manage everything here alone.
In the police station, the inspector threatens Chandini and asks her to reveal the name of the people involved in the drug racket. A crying Chandini pleads with the police saying that she doesn't know anything about this matter. The inspector taunts her saying that you were there with your sister at the time of the accident, she is your own sister and you don't know anything about this matter. Or does this mean that you don't want to reveal anything. But we have ways here in the station to extract the truth from anyone. Chandini crying puts her head in her hands feeling totally helpless.

Preview of next episode: The peon in IC comes upto where Vishesh and Adi are sitting and says that police have come. Vishesh is puzzled and exclaims, police in IC! Adi is scared thinking that the police have come on account of Laveena's case.
Babuji calls up on the chawl and Tulsi picks up the phone. Babuji asks Tulsi that can he speak to Manisha Kapoor. Tulsi asks him who he is and Babuji says that I am her father. Tulsi with a smirk on her face says oh Babuji!
A worried Romeo comes upto Chandini and Beeji in the hospital and tells them to come to the chawl quickly as tension are broken out. Chandini and Beeji are shocked to hear this.
