Vishesh is very angry at Prashanth. He comes up to him and demands to know why he did such a thing. He says last year he won the best employee award and this time also the award had his name on it becoz he was so straightforward, honest and trustworthy. He tells Prashanth to meet him later in the office alone and orders everybody else to get back to work.
Everybody is working, but Chandini is sitting at her desk and telling that she can feel in her heart that Prashanth is not capable of doing such a thing. Ami and Kavitha tell her that the official investigation has proven it and therefore it must be true. Varun also agrees. But Chandini still feels it is not so. She thinks of the time when she and Prashanth were alone in the canteen on New Years eve and Prashanth had told her that the reason for joining Adi's team was something which she would never understand. She thinks that there must be some other reason. Then Adi's voice cuts into the conversation telling her to grow up from her daydream and look at the real world. Chandini retorts that she learnt from her Beeji always to follow her heart and not her head. Adi tells her that all this teaching is stupid and tells her in the real world, it is totally different. Saying this, he walks away.
Varun goes to Jenny's office and asks for Smitha's phone number, but Jenny says it is against office rules. Varun then asks if there were any phone calls or msgs from Smitha saying she was on leave. Jenny says no and asks him why he wants to know. Varun thinks of yesterday night when Smitha was upset and reading out the letter and says he just wanted to know if everything was ok becozshe didn't turn up for work today. Jenny checks the database, but tells Varun that Smitha's house doesn't have a phone. Then she says that a letter had arrived at the desk and that it was addressed to Vishesh. Varun opens the letter and is shocked on seeing the contents.
Chandini borrows Ami's phone becoz she wants to talk to beeji. Beeji in the meanwhile is chatting with Vidya's saas in the chawl. Vidya brings a cup of tea and Beeji remarks that the tea is so nice and sweet. Vidya's saas sarcastically says that it is probably because Vidya wastes 2 kgs of sugar everyday. Beeji says that it is not only the sugar which makes the tea sweet, but also the love of the person making it. Just then the phone rings and Vidya's saas goes to answer it. Beeji then whispers to Vidya that in Jalandhar, people like her saas are called bhuddi khoosat at which both Beeji and Vidya break out into giggles. Vidya's saas comes back and says that the phone is from Chandini. Beeji is worried becoz Chandini never calls from office and goes to answer it.
Chandini tells Beeji that you always told me to follow my heart and not my head. Beeji is confused and says that even now I will tell you to do the same thing. Chandini then reminds Beeji of a incident at school when during a school race she was in one team and one boy of the other team who won the race was stripped of his gold medal becoz he was accused of putting kankar on one of Chandini's teammates shoes so that he could win the race. But Chandini and her teammates knew that it was not the winner, but another boy who had done it. Chandini was told to keep quiet of this incident, but she remembered her Beeji's advice and told the truth to the principal. Beeji tells her to do the same thing now. Chandini is surprised as to how Beeji knew that she was facing a similar dilemma now, but Beeji says I know you your whole life puttar. Varun then comes upto Chandini and tells her that Smitha has resigned from the job. Chandini is shocked on hearing this.
Prashanth is standining in Vishesh's office and Vishesh is demanding to know why he did such a thing. Prashanth says that the reason is so wierd that even if I say the truth, it will look like false at this point of time. Vishesh is not impressed with this excuse and hands Prashanth his resignation letter saying that he has only 2 options left, either sign it or be terminated. Just then there is a knock on the door and Chandini comes in. Vishesh is angry and tells her that he wanted to talk to Prashanth alone, but Chandini says that she will only take a minute. She tells Vishesh that he himself said that Prashanth was so honest and trustworthy and just like somebody framed me, the same thing could have happened to Prashanth. Even in a courtroom, criminals are not convicted unless there is proper and complete evidence. Vishesh agrees with her and asks her to follow him so that she can see the proof.
Vishesh comes to the hub and annouces to everybody that some people are not happy with the decision regarding Prashanth and therefore he wants to show the proof to everyone. He calls for Tyson who comes in with 2 attendants wheeling a computer and tape. Vishesh then says that because of security reasons, all the office rooms are outfitted with close circuit cameras. On hearing this, Prashanth is startled. Vishesh then inserts the tape which shows Prashanth entering the room after everybody had left for break. He first goes to Varun's comp to collect the NRI client database, then he goes to Chandini's computer to install the virus. Then he comes back to Varun's comp and seeing that the virus is installed gives a satisfied smile. Vishesh angrily gets up from the desk and tells Prashanth he is fired. He then comes up to chandini ( who is very upset and hanging her head ) and announces that in future, I hope that nobody will question the managements decisions.
Beeji is folding sweaters and putting it away in a suitcase while singing, Yeh Hai Bambai Meri Jaan, when Chandini comes in and stands by the window. Beeji remarks that there is no use for these sweaters becoz the weather in Bombay has given them dhoka. Chandini says that it is not only the sweaters, but the whole city which has given them dhoka. Beeji is surprised and asks her what the reason is. Chandini is crying and hugs Beeji telling her that it is Prashanth who gave dhoka. Beejis is shocked on hearing this. Chandini then says that Bombay has a heart of stone and it is no place for people like her. To survive, you have to be a dishonest and deceitful like Prashanth, or give up like Smitha or be like Adi who listens to dimaag ( head ) than dil ( heart ). She tells Beeji that she doesn't want to ever change and says that if it has to remain so they have to get out of this city. Otherwise she will lose her own identity just like they lost Mini didi. She says that today itself they should go back to Jalandhar. Beeji is shocked on hearing this!
Preview of next episode: Chandini tells Beeji that they have to leave as soon as possible. She tells Prashanth that because of him, she has lost trust even in herself. She then tells Vishesh that she wants to resign from her job and Vishesh is looking up shocked.
