The episode opens in the chawl where Beeji is applying oil to Chandini's hair. Chandini tells Beeji that maybe they should give a police complaint regarding Mini didi becoz it is becoming increasingly difficult for her to find out any information with the deadlines and everything. She is depressed. Beeji reminds Chandini that when they first landed in Mumbai, she had wanted to give a police complaint and Chandini had refused because it was their izzat ka sawal. She also says that Manisha is very independent and reminds her of an episode in her childhood when Manisha was 12 yrs old and wanted to go to Hum Aapke Hain Koun, but father wouldn't let her so she went all by herself. And when she came back and father asked her where she went, she sweetly replied Hum Aapke Hain Koun? Beeji tells Chandini that Manisha packed up her bags and came to Mumbai alone to fulfill her dreams and therefore she will come back on her own if she feels like. Chandini promises Beeji that she will not complain any further.
Next scene in the office, Adi is checking the progress of his team members. He notices Kavitha hasn't cracked any deals and is upset. He tells his teammates that they have to crack a deal in 4 minutes. Kavitha is walking back to her desk when Varun stops her and does some acting in order to scare her, telling her to get out of his sight and also not to keep mentioning her bf all the time. He then tells Kavitha that all this is practice for an audition which he is going to attend tomorrow. Kavitha says that it was ok, but he needed to practice further.
Next scene, Prashanth is sitting in a room with his team members enocuraging them and telling them to try to relax. Smitha and Ami can't because they are too tensed. Chandini tells them that she has a method of relaxing and proceeds to close her eyes and chant Om. She tells the others to also follow it and they all close their eyes and chant. When they return back to work, Smitha is again frustrated after a call. Chandini tells her to use the method of relaxation and it works.
Kavitha is making a call and ends up speaking to a small girl who is alone in the house and she is scared becoz her parents have left her alone. Kavitha hangs up the phone when Chandini comes up to her and says that how could she do that to a scared child and tells Kavitha to ring up again. Varun comes up and tells Kavitha she shouldn't and that he will report it to Adi. Kavitha rings up and is speaking to the child when Adi comes and tells her to stop. Chandini catches hold of Kavitha's hand and tells her not to. Kavitha speaks to the child till her parents come home and then hangs up. Adi is furious because the call took 20 minutes which she could have used for making the deals. Chandini tries to reason with him saying that it was for a good cause and somethings should be done without expecting anything like how they do in Jalandhar. Adi taunts her saying we know how kind you are, but I think you are doing this on purpose to distract my team. Saying this he walks away. Kavitha is also upset and walks away. Chandini catches up with her in the hallway and asks her what the matter is. Kavitha recounts an incident in her childhood when she was 4, alone in the house and had got locked up in the bathroom. She tells Chandini how scared she was and Chandini consoles her saying she put a smile on a child's face. Kavitha is happy and hugs Chandini telling her she's a true friend.
Chandini, Ami, Smitha and Kavitha are sitting at the canteen table and they are all depressed because their new year plans got chowpat because they had to sell these packages. Ami tells that she had got invitations to a celebrity cruise party, Kavitha says she could have spent it with her bf in US, and Smitha says that she will soon have to find a corner in Andheri station becoz her landlord will kick her out. Chandini has had enough of this rona dona and she announces it is now time for some gaana waana. She starts singing, chale sabke kadam, bolo rum pum pum. Soon the 3 other join in and then the whole canteen.
Their moods brightened, the girls return back to work. However Varun is puzzled because he is not able to access any files. Nor can Kabir. Kabir says this is possible only if their computers have been affected by virus. They see that the computers of the other team is fine and both look at each other and at everyone suspiciously.
