Surya and Imlie are in the deshi Theka bar . They are stranded there due to inclement weather . Surya fondly remembers Imlie used to sing on this bar . He recollects when Imlie many times sang for him too. He says this time he will perform for Imlie . Surya goes onstage n sings a song for her . Imlie is taken aback . Imlie unknowingly starts falling for Surya . He pulls her into the dance and they both enjoy their close Roma tic dance together . Their chemistry starts stirring and they feel the attraction for eachother .
Imlie Surya come very close with the lips n noses almost touching . They freeze … Imlie is shocked . She soon feels awkward n embarrassed .

Next moment she sees vision of Agasthya staring at her , Imlie feels very guilty betraying her beloved . Imlie talks to the vision of Agasthya and weeps , apologises for betraying him .

Imlie and Surya drive back to Reddy house next morning , Imlie apologises for their accidental closeness the previous night . Both sense their attraction and love for eachother . Imlie refuses to acknowledge her feelings and Surya tries his best to hide his , he knows Imlie will never love him, he thinks Imlie is still very much with Agasthya .

At home Imlie and Sutua arrive to find the family is selecting sarees for the upcoming wedding . Anjali’s mother is there too , they are happy to see Surya present there . They ask Surya to help them select for the bride , Anjali’s mother suggests they try the look by draping it on Imlie . As the ladies drape the saree on Imlie they seekSurya’s help . Imlie Surya have accidental close moments . Surya feels his love for Imlie . He senses she was feeling awkward n he moves back , she gives him awkward looks .

In her room Imlie is upset that her heart was starting to feel for Surya n refuses tk allow that , she sees visions if Agasthya and assures him she belonged to him , for several lives n births .

Anjali asks Surya to check out the wedding auspicious moments for Surya Anjali wedding . Surya gets annoyed and crushes the paper and throws it away angrily . He declares he could not marry Anjali even though his marriage to her was ending by contract . He was in love with Imlie , his love was for ever , he could not let any body else into his life . He was incapable of loving anyone else . Anjali feels betrayed n is heart broken , starts crying , but refuses to let go of Surya as she loved him.

Indira hands Imlie divorce papers n asks her to sign them. As such she was leaving this house soon and Indira did not want Surya have any relationships with , so she wants their ties to be severed right now , orders her to do the needful before she left the house .
Imlie stares at the documents feeling sad .
