At the wedding mandap Cheeni throws away the varmala and refuses to marry Jatin, reason being she had no feelings for him. Jatin and his family feel insulted and this leads to war of words and accusations between Jatin’s parents,Anu Chowdhry, Rathore family members and Cheeni. .Jatin assures he will try to win her heart n leaves with his parents. Atharva watches everything and feels pleasantly surprised and encouraged about Cheeni’s feelings for him. He tries to share his feelings with Cheeni but fails to do so . Anu is so proud of
Imli calms Jatin’s parents , takes Cheeni away.
In her room Cheeni feels frustrated that she did so much drama but Arto did not utter a word in her support nor did he once say he loved her.
Later Anu accuses Rupi and Arpita and Sundar of trying to force unwanted marriage on Cheeni and she is so proud that Cheeni refused.
Rupi feels heart broken that Cheeni is just like Malini and Anu , all her parvarish to bring up Cheeni into a nice human has failed. Anu taunts Rupi .Arpita and Sundar are upset too.
Imli calms them. Rupi and Arpita advise Imli to keep Karwa chouth vrat for her would be husband,
In her room Cheeni is alerted by a ball of paper thrown inside her room from the window , she is surprised to see Atharva standing there. He signals her to read the paper . She reads the paper n learns he was asking her to meet him at the mandir next day. Cheeni smiles n agrees.
Imli notices atharva in front of their house and looking up at the bedroom window . She shyly smiles n thinks he was looking up at her bedroom window n waiting for her.
