I have another thought but am not sure with this channel. in colours, some of the shows that had leaps shifted completely to the online platform only. I don't know if that is an option that channel and gul are exploring as an alternative to the flop serial on hotstar....

Digging more deeper into the happenings of the week Atif put out the exit tweet and after watching above IV of Sumbul, it looks like both the PH and channel, are testing waters by leaking the news to see how to take it further. And it's now almost sure that, if they are going with a generation leap then Sumbul will be retained. That's why channel/PH has come up with this IV of Sumbul. A sudden change in Sumbul's attires in the last 3episodes of RWSP too is making me to believe that Sumbul is staying back probably on the channel's request. And if they are dropping the idea of leap and are deciding to proceed with the show going offair, then first the time slot of Rajjo & Imlie will be interchanged with the latter's plug being pulled off gradually with an Arylie ending. That's why I guess this IV has Sumbul promoting Rajjo on a large scale. More than the leap, she was made to talk about Rajjo. Also Rajjo is being promoted by its producer Mukta dhond as 'A beautiful love story with no toxic masculinity', something similar to Arylie. Mukta is a renowned person in the TV industry and has been a part of shows like Rangrasiya, Sanjivani S1, Nagin 4, Divyadrishti either as a producer or as part of the creative team. So, faloodaji, it looks like all your predictions are coming true one by one. 😆

I think you got it a bit wrong with the TRP thing. Imlie first lost slot leadership to BL in the episodes of 25 June-1 July. The next week it shared the position with BL(2 July -8 July) and also Mayuri entered. The next week again BL was slot leader(9-15 July).The following week Imlie was back to being slot leader(16-22 July) and it's maintaining it till now. Those were the episodes of AryLie separation and beginning of leap.

I meant after Malini's entry, because that was the last hope for the makers to increase the trp, thinking that some of the old viewers might be back, which didn't happen and because of which the channel might have not given approval to the plans of Atif & team.

Going by Muskan's few cryptic tweets she made in the days before & after she left and yday's Pawan's like on a TT comment, I feel all is not well between Gul and Atif & his team. Yet, I am waiting for the leap, if it's happening, to have a final conclusion on this. Because, I have lots of past experiences where there were lots of assumptions made by fans regarding tiff between coactors, between actors & producers etc etc, only to be fooled months or years later and see they all are fine with each other as it was in the past & working together. So, I will not be surprised if Atif & team are back with Imlie S2. And we can't blame them. Because, that is how this industry works. Transparency is rare thing in ITV industry and by manipulating us fans & viewers according to how they want things to happen, is how almost all major PHs execute their plan. I want Atif & team to be different from it. Let's see. 😊

If Aashiqana is still at #2, then why does she sound so frustrated to the extent of giving IVs & all? That too to repeat the same sentences every time something similar happens with her shows. It's really pathetic to see that she's not ready to learn anything from her past mistakes. EK is much much better than her. She too was like this adamant woman in the past. But, last few years EK has changed a lot, though her shows have the same content with only names changed.

I can understand your feelings. But, think from the actors side too. A passionate actor will never want to continue in a show where his/her growth is stagnant and both FK & SK belong to that category. So, let's focus on their betterment only.

The way they have rushed tracks recently, I would assume it would be at max 1 month before generation leap.

I am sure this has been decided long back.. it's just out in public domain now. So, the male actor search would have already started.. I would also expect soon some article saying some "xyz" have been finalized to play lead opposite Sumbul./ Imlies daughter.

It's extremely unfortunate what they have done with Imlies character over all.. absolutely zero growth. This character used to dream big, but her only end game in this series was limited to getting married and producing kids.. lol.. what about her career aspirations.. this is typical ITV for u .. no logic, all bakwas.

I am holding up only to watch Arylie.. and will stop watching once that pair is out.

Bold - The way Aryan was introduced postleap and was given the 'maut' dialog, i had a gut feeling that this is how they are going to end Arylie. Though I am not sure whether that's plan of Atif & team too or whether it was on this part the disagreement started. Because, the trio who shared Malini's entry promo didn't share the 5yr leap promo and it's as soon as the leap started Atif quit. So, they might have wanted to take it slow after Malini's entry; but channel & Gul might have not agreed to it.
