Will we get to see Arylie atleast till September end?

After yday's Gul outbursts I was eager to know till when we will get to see Arylie on our screens. So, I did do more research. And have come to another conclusion.

I think Week 28 (9th July to 15thJuly) TRP is what turned the tables, looking at how excited Atif & his team was excited with Mayuri's return which happened in the first week of July. The TRP results which was published in July 21 showed rating decreased by 0.2 and Imlie losing the slot leader position for the first time to BL. And coincidentally Atif puts out his exit tweet on July 22. So, my guess is that SP gets to know the ratings much in advance & probably would have summoned the creative team for another change in track, to which they didn't agree. And Gul who was already least interested in Imlie might have opted to let go off the show; but the channel didn't agree, as with their fluctuating ratings for all shows except Anupama they wouldn't have wanted to take another risk right now. Also looking at the past RWSP episode ratings would not have wanted to let go off the Khan duo, atleast till it was on air. Hence, my assumption is that the coming 2week's RWSP episode ratings without Arylie and Imlie's episode ratings for the next two weeks will be what the channel's decision will be based on, regarding when the leap should happen. If Imlie ratings increase and RWSP ratings decrease, there is a probability of getting to see the Khan duo together till September end, i.e., till RWSP end. Also, during my previous show, I have heard that it is the channel who pays for the leads salary and so they have more say on the leads matters. Can someone help me on this?

Also, Pooja can i know whether Gul's favourite show is still at 2nd position in Hotstar popular shows list. If it has changed, then probably that maybe the reason why she is so agitated, because during the launch of it she had mentioned it to be one of its kind in OTT platform, even internationally and that she was planning to have 300 episodes of it. But looking at its rating in IMDB, and how it is not working as she expected, I can understand how frustrated she might be now seeing it a flop and if the rumor of Atif & team leaving her is true, I am not at all surprised at the way she was furiously attacking the fandom in her comments & stories. Also, don't be surprised if she is seen putting out all her energy, effort, time and money to make the show a hit post Arylie's exit. Because, it's not only the fandom, but her most talented team quitting too has hit her ego, which I think is happening for the first time with her and she has to prove herself right. But then we all know 'Pride goes before a fall'.😊

my experience with leaps has been with ekta serials and this was before social media stuff. so there was never this kind of fan meltdown as it all seemed rather smooth -- as in the changes weren't abrupt and wasn't a surprise. plus, the actors would tell folks they are leaving and all and so audience already knew it was coming. from what I can remember, maybe a month ahead, the audience would know.

here, we are in 2nd week of august. if we say a month, then I would say 2nd week of september maybe? I really don't know -- gul sounds super tempermental and frustrated with the fandom. I am wondering if they will wrap it up quickly, take a week or two break in between and then launch imlie 2.0 as a fresh serial instead of the leap being seamless.

I think the channel has the final say if channel wanted to extend the show pH team should agree as they would have signed the contract.. we can request for pH change.. and the ph should have creatives who are well versed in both romantic tracks and also simultaneously handle family drama.. i have seen oh change in tamil serial platforms..

If news are true.. both leads quitting means they have to search in for new actors. If one is retained as per gul again they have to find the new male lead wic will b time consuming i guess.. and also she is not giving importance to side actors in this series so finding. Side actors who will raise arylie kids.. is also in question as.. Narmadha is not as strong compared to aparna.. so it should b sundar Arpita.. and i guess rajshri and gaurav won't play elder characters either . So v have to wait and watch..

I just wished we atleast get 3 months but don't know how things work in Gul's world. Plus I just hope she considers a fresh story with Sumaan. If not her atleast Star Plus consider that and Arylie is given a chance again

enlightened -- I don't know if you have seen the promo for this new serial. when I first saw it, I did wonder if imlie was going off-air but then saw later promo clearly said 7PM slot.

still, I was confused in terms of programming -- why a channel would have a show that feels a bit similar to another one already there?

I have another thought but am not sure with this channel. in colours, some of the shows that had leaps shifted completely to the online platform only. I don't know if that is an option that channel and gul are exploring as an alternative to the flop serial on hotstar....

I think you got it a bit wrong with the TRP thing. Imlie first lost slot leadership to BL in the episodes of 25 June-1 July. The next week it shared the position with BL(2 July -8 July) and also Mayuri entered. The next week again BL was slot leader(9-15 July).The following week Imlie was back to being slot leader(16-22 July) and it's maintaining it till now. Those were the episodes of AryLie separation and beginning of leap.

omg. the part where you mentioned that the channel pays for the leads’ salary is both news, and extremely promising and pleasant surprise to me (if it’s actually true). THANK YOU. there’s a chance this week’s rwsp ratings might turn out to be stable since Akshay Kumar is making an appearance in it (worst possible timing, ugh). and we just got the gen leap news this week. i guess we’ll have to pin our hopes on next week’s trps instead, which good news, is very much in our hands. if anyone on the forum who’s also on Twitter would be so kind as to take the lead and coordinate, we can totally work together with the Twitter folks as a whole fd and make this work to our advantage.

She has 4 shows in her pocket Imlie, fanna (co producer already shifted to voot) sindoor ka keemat dnt knw more than the name . And aashiqana. .out of all Imlie is her bread winner..

And I'm very much sure channel is not wanting to let go of Imlie.. and if v request channel me might get more extension time or may v get a redux with SuMaan.. coz channel defo know abt the fans craze abt them . Courtesy RWSP
