How do they agree to play parents this early in their career when their story isn't even old yet especially Sumbul. Itv actors are famous for being typecast. Playing parent is ok if your story is running for over 2 years . Here its not even a year.

Exactly, OK fk is 30ish and has been in the industry for nearly a decade but sumbul should not agree to it at all. She is already going to have so much difficulty shedding the village image, she does not need to deal with mummy baggage at all

Agree and for FK too. He is what just 4 show olds. Moreover this is 2nd show as lead and gained popularity as a hottest hunk . How can they make him.dad .

The makers don't care

It's the actors who have to think for themselves.. the makers will drain them dry and then chuck them for a new cast in a leap. How many itv actors do more than 2 lead roles? They get typecast and are replaced by younger people

Yrkkh 1.0 Hina is the only one from the original cast that is surviving and she did that by going completely bold and changing her image. Everyone else did no other work........ Even she was unceremoniously chucked out of the show when they wanted a new couple..

Forget about FK. They are making Sumbul play a 25 year old single foster mother . Like they have no other better track to show.

Many actors have limitations on what they want or do not want to portray and as far as I remember that article came out when FK had just joined the show. At that time the story was on a different tangent and anyhow ITV makers never plan out their stories this much in advance

Also, contrary to what you think creatives do have to plan way ahead in order to have the necessary logistics in place. There have been several shows that have had short run stints where the production house has stated that they had a long term vision for the show but have had to shelve it coz the show got closed down coz of lack of trp, some unforeseen circumstance or because the channel closes it down. I remember one where the production house said they had a story lined up for 2 years but the show closed shop after 4 months coz of lack of trp. How the day by day plans play out may not be planned too way ahead but makers do often have a long vision of how a story should play out. Even Fahmaan himself said so. That's why the resignation of certain actors threw the production off kilter. Makers had a story planned but had to shelve it coz of the resignations and had to run around scrabbling to find a story to continue the show. Hopefully they now have another long range plan in place.
