Sumbul has done incredible job lifting the show on her shoulders for 2 years . What I meant was sumbul at such a young age has been part of a successful show which has been in top 5 since inception. About fahmaan , the way story is going is scaring me bcz I want show to run longer . He entered the mid way and its hard to earn approval of audience who is rigid when it comes to main jodi. The example I can think of is Mr bajaj. Both sumbul and fahmaan blew me away with their acting. I want him to have longer run for the abuse he had to face and the things he had to hear.

Honestly, the way story is going is disappointing. And it hards to reconcile that these are the same writers who gave those episodes. But then isn't that itv is all about.

quite unfortunately, yes. and it’s looking like there may never come a day when we’d be able to disagree with this statement. i too watch itv shows foremost for the plot itself and then acquaint myself to actors whose craft leaves a significant impression on me. i think preserving the integrity of a story should any day precede an(any) actor’s popularity and the demands/conditions that stem from it. i feel like a lot of times, it’s when makers lose sight of this midway or when they start going out of their way to cater to that that the story itself starts gradually taking a hit. this isn’t an exclusively itv problem, i see this happen with Korean and Thai dramas too. a storyteller’s top consideration at every point should be to keep true to their original intent behind telling a story.

speaking of Ronit Roy, it’s my humble opinion that he’s the gold standard of itv. 🙂

@ bold:I guess this is what Imlie team did . They wrote aryan in this story this way that it felt the story was always supposed to have Imlie aryan.

About itv , the thing is trp audience watch shows for.escapism. They don't care much about stories as long as they are getting a mahaan FL , good lead's chemistry , a vamp. Sad but true.

Its not like noone has tried to make good shows . Star has actually tried it with dahleez, Everest, POW, Sumit sambhal.lega , nisha aur uske cousins but they just doesn't click.

We still have a long way to go.

If itv wants to improve content , it needs to start limited series like k dramas or pak dramas.

Zindagi channel is again starting with ZGH, Aunn Zara., Etc.

@ red Ronit roy is in different league. Just love him

Aryan's infertility would be a big setback for her. Aryan won't tell her anything. If you say that that would break the 50-50 narrative then my question is did Imlie not hide things from Aryan? She hid BM-BD truth, she even hid Narmada's slap & verbal attacks on her. Why?? To protect him. We also need a parallel for 'tum chaho to mujhse baatein chhupalo par apna dard kabhi mat chhupana.' Aryan isn't dumb to not notice the fake reports game, it's just that he'd suspect BD/BM. The new BTS of Jo & Aryan gives me a feeling that he would seek Jo's help to get to the truth (she got into his good books today by helping AryLie) but little does he know that it's infact her behind all of this. Him spending more time with Jo would confuse Imlie & Jo would fan her confusion/ insecurities further. And at this point if she gets to know about Aryan's infertility she's gonna be completely broken. Now it needs to be seen if Aryan manages to handle things before his relationship falls apart or not.

oh wht u say v interesting. yes i is v possible tht imlie will mu aryan n aryan will nt clear her mu to get cultprit but last line is correct he hs to balance lets see
