No need to apologize, Grace. Hated that whole mess of patrakaar, Imlie, their whatever love. Totally grossed me out. I hoped to see how Malini, though weak, but elegant and a fair person would come out of it. They totally trashed her to make Imlie the suitable one🤬 Then, when character Malini was burnt down to ashes, there was no need for me to watch. Till ASR came over and started kicking someone's behind😃, I had sadistic pleasure😈.

Yes, amazing characterization of ASR. Never have we had a ML who would apologize. It is always their right to doubt, trash women and women just melt because of some action heroics and physically saving them💔 ASR certainly broke this stereotype.

@ bold: I do think so they will. Till now they have used ASR to break sterotypes, I feel they intend to do so ahead to. Just look the way aryan compeletly surrenders to Imlie during her confession. Such a poignant moment.

@ red : oh many of us were expecting imlie to confess first . But the way I see it , CVs have always been very clear with maintaing 50-50 in their relationship in each aspect. So if confession was first from aryan's side , Consummation might be from Imlie's. Just look at the confession . Imlie smoothered that guy with kisses while ASR one was more on emotional side . Aryan will never initate intimacy aspect the way they have written him he respects Imlie too much. It has to be Imlie. Anyway aryan liberates Imlie ,hence her bolder side comes forth bcz she knows she won't be judged . Likewise taking their relationship to next level will be also be a step in liberation and normalising woman taking lead .

Narmada has turned to be a headache really, but if AryLie is there in the scene, can't skip it. In fact there's more into that scene where Aryan says evenif he will have to change his name, he will not let anyone, including himself, to end her dreams & career. And he leaves the scene collecting Imlie's hands in his, in ASR style.

U all know i am holding out on these episodes till the promo plot is unveiled. So i cannot add much. But from what i have read n seen on twitter i am getting real bad feeling about this jyoti narmada thing. It seems like narmada will start shipping jyo with aryaan after learning of her long time love for aryan. I mean what kind of nutcase is this narmada yaar. U wanted imlie with aryan before imlie was even divorced. Then even after learning that imlie loved adi. N then aryan was forcing her to marry him. N now when u can see she n ur son are happy n in love. Now u want a girl who again is divorced n whom ur son doesn't love to get together. What is wrong with u? U feel imlie diesn’t prioritize ur son? Fine! But does that really mean ur son will leave her n be with another woman? Is that the kind of man u have raised? Are u for real? Is this the same woman who told imlie to fight for her marriage with adi? That every relationship needed constant work even child n parent? That even one side of a relationship fighting to keep it alive is enough?

I get that makers needed a way to create higher stakes for aryan n imlie for driving a rift! Because rathores being a clan was not working. They needed a weak link to make imlie helpless against the villains. Else bm n bd were ineffective. Jyo’s machinations would look lightweight. But I feel like makers should have shown Narmada like that from begining. She should have been ambiguous from the day Aryan brought imlie home. Because then audience wouldn’t have such s huge disappointment. If Narmada was shown to be even a slightest bit wary of Aru’s relationship with imlie this present scenario would gave worked way better.

About the choice n consent. I feel the fact that Aryaan once already has tried to force her into marriage still looms heavy on him. He is that kind of guy who doesnt forgive himself easily. He will never repeat his mistakes n thats why every step of the way he asks her permission n consent. I think this gives a really important message in todays world. Especially to young girls out there. Even when u are in love n ur partner is good man everything from hand holding to hug to a kiss to the act of love needs your full consent n choice. Never just give in because ur partner wants it. U are in the relationship to n u matter just as much.
these are the things that itv has never bothered with before but we need more such stories n couples to instigate healthy boundaries amongst youngsters. Because i know these shows are watched by a lot of young adults too.

Loved how the episode started. For a minute, when Aryan asked her " keh paogi tum?", I became mush😭. This is me asking my student if they are ready to demonstrate what they learnt OR do they need more time AND did they calm their nerves🤓 But, BUT little did I realize that he was egging her on. Ewwww..... Narmada is nauseating to watch as she yet again tries to sabotage her son's marriage. Her defense of the Baba following them on their secluded date left such a bad taste in my mouth🤬. She is triggering me, as this kind of behavior from a MIL is not uncommon in real world. May be not as dramatic as this, but overt/covert support, praise and comparisons with other people may all appear innocent on the surface but the people who are bearing with it know otherwise. Please MILs, don't expect your real life bahus to forget all this hostile, tongue in cheek treatment when you are able bodied and take care of you when you are disabled. I hate the stereotyping of a vile DIL who refused to take care of a MIL in old age💔 kyun ki, these mental scars bear no evidence, but reactions do🤢. I know there are always exceptions to this, I am in no way stereotyping all MILs as I don't want to do all DILs. The only defence i can give for her is that she was an 18 year old in a marriage with a huge power imbalance away from home and made to feel that she was worthless. So she stuck to every crumb of affection shown by the honest patrakaar.

But i do wonder if they had shown aryan entry then - who would he have supported - the naive village idiot or the wronged wife??

Good point , see the way I see it aryan has always been about truth. He has always been firm about taking the side of right. So.in that scenerio he would have been on malini's side . But he would have considered both the woman as victims and actually given a reality check that adi has wronged both.
