Precisely. He needs to know. I’d like to see how he deals with it. And the thing is, why should Imlie require Aryan’s protection when she is very much capable of defending herself? I’d really hate for her strength to be downplayed for the sake of playing up Aryan’s. This show is foremost her story. She needs to be shown taking the lead in her own story and her own growth. Otherwise, there’s going to be barely any distinction between this show and every other saas-bahu show.

But Imlie has always been like that. She tolerates a lot for the ones she loves and Narmada is the mother of the man she loves.

I too wanna see her give it back to Narmada and everyone else( some Imliepanti never goes amiss) but I'm not sure this will happen considering what we saw when Aryan was shot. Narmada literally kicked her out whilst Aryan was in a coma. Lord knows where Imlie would be right now if Aryan hadn't come out of his coma and chased after her.

Aryan can't always fight her battles for her but he is gonna have to instil some confidence in her and reassure her that he is with her in whatever means Imlie chooses to deal with Narmada and even the other 3. That's why I am so glad he confessed. Knowing he loves her and has his support always will help her overcome a lot of obstacles including the ones at home.
