Why are you mixing both narratives?
ASR forced her, realised his mistake, gave her a choice, she took the choice and left, he asked everyone to let her go. Narrative ends here.
Meethi as a mother thought this marriage is right decision for her daughter took that decision and emotionally manipulated imlie into it, which made imlie return and go through marriage.
Meethi did not ask imlie to marry because "society will talk as she left her shadi in midst" so the argument that meethi wouldn't have forced her if 6 pheras didn't happen stand negated.
