I agree! I too have that bad feeling... made an entire rant out of it yesterday. But it is really not hard to prove Imlie wrong for once!

ITV proving their FL wrong even when they clearly are....nope, no way of that ever happening!

I can never tell whether ITV is female or male centric cos even tho FL is main lead, the FL gets the worst and most unrealistic characterisation🤢

His act of revenge had always been fair on aditya. Write a different article than what u want to write. Failing that get demoted. Resignation not accepted because of family emergency. Letting them use company health insurance. Giving him fair reference for other jobs. The one time he actually used underhanded method was when he was pushed by his unravelling relationship with imlie who is his archilis heel at this point. He stilled dialled it back to get imlie to not sacrifice her career to save akt.

Now imlie is back to where he wants her to be. Focused on her work. He has realized that he cannot stop her and he will never control her. Its against his fabric. So he is again using this opportunity to teach her things. Be stubborn. Keep at it. Start from scratch. Make your way. He is foremost a mentor to imlie. That role preceeds everything else in his life. At least thats how interpret it.

I so agree with @bold. Aryan is conflicted on the one hand he does not want her interfering but on the other hand he cannot stop her either. So he is not going to spoon-feed her anything. Instead he stands aside and supports her when she tries to get innovative. Mentor-mentee, anyone?
