I want AKT 3.0 but without T family please. Makers pls cast some good actor who can give me ASR vs AKT angst which was clearly missing. I don't care even if they use EK's way of plastic surgery too, kuch bhi chalega.

Honestly, be it GM, MV or anyone else playing AKT, I do not want whitewashing. ITV is capable of doing away with characters in tens of creative ways without whitewashing them.

And again, when it comes to conflicts with characters from the past, ITV has a history of very conveniently painting the missing person guilty just to clear the present character of all blame. I do not want to see that either simply because they have set the narrative right until now.

ASR has been shown as someone who does the due diligence about an issue instead of forming prejudiced opinions, and AKT has been shown as someone who can be rash with his writing and jump to conclusions just because he has the power (And please, anyone who thinks AKT was shown like this after ASR's entry to glorify ASR, go rewatch the episodes before Aryan entered, you'll see enough such incidents to indicate that this was an AKT trait way before a character called Aryan had anything to so with the show).

The only reason to flip this narrative is to continue portraying Imlie as right and we've already seen enough of that. This one time, let her actually realise that her view of calling it a mishap and Aryan's reaction an overexaggeration is not true but there is some worth in Aryan's view about the whole issue and merit to his need for revenge.

Love everything you said here, but especially @bold. Adi has not received any punishment for any decision or action of his till date, except losing Imlie. He was rash when he brought Imlie home as a maid; rash when he still married Malini; rash with playing husband to both; rash when he accepted Imlie and divorced Malini; rash when he divorced Imlie; rash when he married Malini AGAIN right in front of Imlie and last but not least, rash when he proposed Imlie 2 days after finding out Malini’s truth! This guy is the very definition of RASH and that was before ASR came onto the scene!

Yes! Just a godd actor, I doubt someone established will want to take the character up but someone who has good acting skill and might not be well known will also do. I miss the tashan of ASR-AKT scenes that we got when GM was here!

White washing is honestly the worst way to do away with AKT as a character

Normally, I would roll my eyes at plastic surgery but in this case, I am all for plastic surgery with new face. 😂 We need a full angst dark vibe Aditya.

Rather than full on Aditya becoming an antagonist, I want something in between -- a grey character undone by his arrogance, indecisiveness and lack of awareness of the impact of his actions. I want something where he is indirectly responsible for Arvind's death and for him to feel the impact of that realization.

Imlie tends to idealize people and put them on a pedastal. She still believes that Aditya is a great journalist and he could have done no wrong. She still believes the Tripathy family is awesome. Really don't want the creatives making all of them totally evil because it would then lead to Rathores and Aryan getting some golden halo and people arguing that it is biased against the old fans etc etc etc...

I want there to be nuance, to show that they are human. Yes, they can be capable of awful things but they are also not full on evil. Rather than a caricature like blue aunty, I want to see lovely complex acting as well as writing. I want Imlie to feel conflicted and to realize that these people are not who she thought they were. At the same time, feel real angst because she is still able to see the good in them. I want her and Aryan to fight about what justice means and where forgiveness, reconciliation and letting go of the past lie along with getting closure.

That would be the sort of storytelling that will run for 100s of episodes but it will be exciting to watch. I have seen dramas where the villains / antagonists have very complex characters and they is so much of mixed feelings while watching -- on one hand, you feel yes, it is good they are suffering the consequenes but on the other side, you feel a bit sorry for them as no one accepts their apologies and are unable to let go of past. There are villians who are aware they are making the wrong steps and feel guilty but yet keep doing them. It all makes for great drama as a viewer to watch -- the only thing is that requires great writing as well as actors who can deliver. It is not impossible -- even children's cartoon episode can do soul wrenching angst with simple plot.

One being akt exaggerating the said situation , and other one actually causing the conflict

MV already left inthink , with the unfollow and shady Instagram stories , so he being FLAWED ML , it is going to be he impulsively acted and misreported a situation , which imlie is going to find out

But she is also going to find out the actual person for the co flict being someone else

Hence new villain and akt gets white washed and exit of the show ?
