Reception Promo -my thoughts

After seeing the promo and also seeing Satyakaam being present at the reception. I feel Imlie is going to get schooled by Aryan on respecting and valuing herself. All the things that we have been discussing here will be said by Aryaan. And SK and meethi n everyone will realize that Aryaan is a true mentor to their impulsive daughter. I think another chopstick lesson scene is coming.

Remember how cute fandom had found Adi eating with his hands to save Imlie from embarrassment until we had an encore with Aryaan who gave us a different perspective about being comfortable in your skin vs learning new things and growing. Aditya gently encouraged her to not feel bad about herself and did things that should have been done by any decent human being. Aryaan on the other hand saw the potential in her and pushed her out of her comfort zone to learn some survival skill in urban jungle. There has to be a balance between being proud n unashamed if your roots to respecting the journey you have had n accomplishments and ambition to grow.

I am not a good judge of adilie dynamics as i started the show after aryaan came in picture because that was break from the original bengali show. Do enlighten me in the comments about how aditya had helped Imlie grow. But Aryaan I feel has infused an confidence in her to give as good as she got. Her look in reception is not something shameful but her intention to embarrass him with it was. Maybe we will also get some harsh dialogues like how she became domestic help for Tripathi’s.
