There are always 2 sets of kurta's designer copy..well, got to think that AKT stole it from the designer or paid him...dont know..but well, coming to Imlie's lehenga, may be we will need 3 - one of Imlie, second for BD and keep one as back up if Malini returns and knows that AKT is still lingering in meri biwi Imlie hai feelings. She might swap the swapped bride..she is quite capable and no one will know it either.

I have no problem with the deal wedding itself, because she has a choice, even if she her self doesn't see it at all.

My problems are some off the actions he's taken since the deal wedding became a thing, for example he had no right turning it from fake to real at all, without her consent, she only consented to fake.

At this point, her consent is very dubious when it comes to the real deal wedding, yes she's shown to have a way out and she never takes it but regardless she never ever consented to a real wedding.

Another example is, she refused to put on real mehendi and again he ignored it and the worst part, did it while's asleep. He took advantage of the fact that she's a heavy sleeper! I personally don't see it as an innocent prank because right now, their relationship/friendship is not at that level anymore after the last few episodes.

While I dislike the man-handling, I'm not gonna hold it against him since this is ITV after all and it's a common trope used in all serials. Also my girl is out there biting him and slapping his chest🤕

I do agree that this girl needs conservatorship due to her self destructive tendencies, boy get her some therapy lol. It still doesn't give Aryan any right to ignore her consent and force her to see the world from his viewpoint.

At the end of the day, you can only help someone so much but if they're not willing to help themselves even .01% then there's nothing anyone else can do for them but be there to watch the self destruction. It's not fair to force others to be a part of your self-destruction because it hurts and drains them mentally and physically.

To have to watch someone die right infront your eyes and not be able to do a single thing is absolute torture, it genuinely traumatises in ways that you didn't even know existed. At some point you either become an enabler or you also slowly kill yourself alongside them.

I hate the entire physically man handling each other scenes... its not funny, its not cute it makes me roll my eyes and skip the scene. I hate that he put mehendi on her hands while she was asleep. He went directly agains the believes she holds so dear to herself. It would have been wiser to show him applying paint or something so that he gets what he wants without going against her sentiments. She really values this stuff and doing so against her wishes was wrong.

Aryan is not forcing a viewpoint on her. She is stepping in his way and he is merely shoving her out of it. Aryan is willingly taking a part in her elf destructive tendencies... is that wise? I don't know. Is that fair? I don't know either. But is he doing it out of pure intentions? Yes.

Bold: Aryan felt that exact helplessness when he saw his BIL die in front of his eyes. He refuses to every be that helpless again. He refuses to be a bystander as Imlie burns herself alive.

A true partner isn't just a lover, they play multiple roles in different situations in each other's lives.

A lot of couples in arrange marriage fall in love only after after having kids together, that goes a long way to say they love the mother/father of the child more than the "lover" in their partner.

I agree with you completely...I think irrespective of your age if you have faced so many deceptions in your life you will know how to deal with them and how to safeguard yourself and your loved ones. Since Imlie has faced so many Cheats in her life she should be a pro at reading people and guessing their intentions. But makers are just making fools of us and I strongly think Imlie is suffering from some kind of syndrome and she need help.

With Aryan it has always been about setting her free. 🤷🏻‍♀️ He was conflicted all along. Last night's scene was poignant in that way, where he knew he was wrong and going against his grain by forcing her to marry.

Such a complex relationship this one...sigh....part of the problem being that Imlie is our 20. Impulsive and immature.

The way Imlie was quick to absolve herself of any guilt by believing Babydoll was in love with Aryan was almost reminiscent of the way Aditya was quick to believe that Malini was in love with and was having an affair with Kunal. They both deep down knew or know there couldn't be any substance to it but used it as an excuse coz it suited their narrative at the time.

Love and Anjie both mentioned their experiences ( thank you so much guys for sharing - opened up my perspective alot. muahhhhs) and that has made me think a lot about some of the actions i have taken in life when i have taken agency away from a loved one because i didn't think they were capable of walking away. they werent. i did it to save us. were we saved, yes. was i right no. was i the bad guy - oh yeah. did i pay a huge price for doing that, absolutely yes.

so when all of this was happening i was like my boi is wrong in taking over. you cant make decisions for others but relating it my own experience when i threw someone's choice out the door - i see it. you see the future - you see how it will turn out without the intervention like ASR did (with the two imlies side by side) and you make the hard decision and you decide that being a villian or the bad guy isnt anything compared to what can be lost. you will do it in a heart beat for people you love. you will become the villian

so i am having a change of heart where i do see where aryan is coming from

the whole real shadi business is what is disturbing for me. if she doesnt want the rasams then dont do it. By converting this shadi into real your intentions have either changed to keeping imlie with your self or you are deluding yourself by proclaiming that you are trying to save her when you are trying to save yourself.

yaar these guys are so past touching, falling, sleeping all over each other that i dont put much stock in the whole going into the room and putting mehndi stuff. she touches him way more than he touches her. and she also gives him signals.

what i struggle with alot and i Dont see is where Imlie is coming from but i should. she is fighting for her sovereignty and rules and terms dont matter anymore. she wants out! hook or crook. Like Pooja said (i btw hated the whole bride swapping idea and i thought and still think that it is a slap in the face of people who have loved and supported her beyond anything, narmada, arpita, and to an extent Aryan) i see her point. i also see her point in not believing him - because this ghonchu has decided to come clean at the last min ( melts my heart and shit) but from her perspective - this is another one of your tricks. she is totally questioning his intentions. we know they are good but she doesnt.

of course it would be so so helpful if she remembered all that he has done for her.

i also get that you loved AKT for a whole year and it hurts you to see him hurt. i get that too. but trying to leave your wedding to go to him is so f***** up.

nothing new that anybody else hasnt said yet but my epiphany was kinda interesting for myself. what would you do if you knew the other person wasnt capable or in the right mind to make the right decision. and if you dont take control you will lose that person or go down with them yourself. damn! i cant believe itv made me think deep. i thought i was in just for the eye candy :)
