Rather I have one ASR with me for the past 19 years, and I can very well relate to the frustration of Imlie, if you are with a MAN OF ACTION who never expresses through words. After 5 years of waiting for my man to confess his love for me, one fine day I had to catch a flight from Delhi to Hyderabad on his birthday, knock his door and yell on his face that Enough is Enough, I love you and Get married to me. It sucks, it really sucks.😒😒
Aditya is impulsive, who is verbal and speaks out what is in his mind. Aditya needs confirmation of acceptance of his behaviour from people around him. He is a reflection of patriarchal society, where woman is considered at a lower level to man and she is supposed to be dependant on a man. He is hurt whenever Imlie takes a decision for herself
Aryan is Clear and focussed. not expressive and believes in action, he expects people around him to trust him through his acts, not worried to justify himself. It is too tough to decode such a person( even today's confession made me laugh). He wants to support and mentor her so that she can take her own decisions. I am curious why he keeps on telling Mentor, as that word also stems from a patriarchal mind.
Clearly Imlie's relation with both are entirely different. Imli is more of her natural self with Aryan and he lets her be on her own. The vacuum created in Imlie's heart by leaving behind AKT is totally filled by Aryan, and I don't see any shadow of AKT also in her mind or thoughts.( I know she is angry and upset with him right now, but it is just a phase)
Makers and writers have done a wonderful work, by introducing a PL, writing him so well that replacing ML by PL was effortless, and show could maintain even after ML quit the show.
I wonder what will be the role of Aditya after the marriage track, whether he will vanish into thin air like Anu and Malini did. If BM and BD will be out or in, Whether Aditya will turn into Malini 2.0(Malini was a very sweet character when we started the show)
Even if they stick to just Aryan and Imlie, and their intricacies of relation, how it grows, how they becomes support to each other, romance and career, how Imlie brings Aryan's inner self out of his dark shell, brings him to light and colours, how Aryan holds her hand and brings back her faith in love and marriage, healing the scars of her past, there is a lot of story to unfold
Time being, we don't need another villain in the story, Imlie herself is in the villain mode in her own story. But I know its ITV and there will be drama and it will be there. I am ready to take it, as long as Arylie can keep me invested in it❤️❤️

We have always seen how Aryan emphasizes about Imlie's age and all the burdens she has shouldered until now and also when it comes to her family or someone who considers them family blindly she does anything for them....so ASR actually wants be normal 19-20 yr old girl...study, play be carefree put herself first...in real most teens do behave selfishly., impulsively...they don't think want to live life on their own terms....that normal is what he wants to give her. Even Aryan was burdened suddenly with responsibilities....of business and more than that it was traumatic time but he had to step up and take on the mantle of a older responsible adult....so I feel he is not gonna confess or express his feelings anytime soon , when he still hasn't realized it completely...even when he realizes maybe he won't confess, it will be upto Imlie to take it forward whenever the gadhi will start thinking and using her brain. Currently there is full on blinders
Ofcourse it's ITV so anything can happen, but please CVs don't butcher his character

Me too. I was watching the old episodes, the way they developed their relationship was so natural, he always understood her and gave right to make her decisions and she was confident to rely on him. 😭
I just wish cv's found a better way to play out this marriage track without destroying what they had built over 100 episodes. Sigh!

In regards to Aditya track going forward, here are my thoughts that I posted a while ago.
It is interesting that you expect Imlie to be a villain in her own story but since she is the FL, at some point, we need a villain 😁In regards to the word 'mentor', so I haven't had the chance to see the episode for today but my guess is that Aryan is thinking within the corporate context. In my last job, we had mentors and it was about 3 weeks. So we completed training which was 2 weeks and then assigned a mentor. This person would review our work and help us tune if our work was a little off. A mentor is generally something for the short term guiding you till you get your wings. Unlike a teacher or trainer, the difference is that mentor will only guide. Ultimately, the work you produce will be your own, have your own print/take and you are free to disregard everything your mentor says. Whether or not you succeed (in your performance review) has zero bearing on the mentor. They will not be judged if the person they mentored has failed or not up to the mark. As long as they did their job of guiding and giving their input, it is ultimately up to the new employee to perform.
Similarly, thats the attitude I see with Aryan when it comes to Imlie. He wants her to succeed and he is like a big bird pushing the chick off the nest and asking her to stretch her wings and fly. Now it is up to her to take his advice or leave it or use parts or it or interpret it in different ways. It is up to her to figure out her life vision for herself. Am wondering if the use of the word mentor means that Aryan does not see himself long-term in Imlie's life -- meaning once she has learned whatever she has to, she will have to fly on her own and perform based on her own merit. Maybe he expects them to break up and for her to be on her own once she has gained a spine.....
