Chap 13.

Next two days went pretty uneventful. Aryan stopped talking to her, she tried talking to him but he just would find a way to ignore and leave from there.

It was weekend when Uncle and Aunty return. Imlie ran into Auntie hugging her cried her out. She felt so lonely. “Beta” caressing her head. “Bus , bus hoja” she took her and made her sit down. Imlie told them about Aaditya. “I don’t want to him to trouble you guys Aunty. Pata nai wo kya karega. He doesnt even care about Police. Main yaha se chali jaungi mein nai chati mere wajah se aap logo kuch ho. I wont forgive myself” she wept like a child.

“Kahi nai jaogi tum. Jab tak hum hai uski himmat nai hai” Uncle scolded her.

“Beta apne dost ko batao, jiske baare mein tumne bataya tha.” She shook her head.

“You love him right? I can see it whenever you talk about him. Use bata do shayas wo madad kar paye, wo itna bade company ke maalik hai unki bhi poch hogi. Aise to hum kuch nai karpayenge. Tumhe ladna hoga” s

“Nai Aunty. He thinks am happily married , he thinks its the normal arrange marriage where a new bride just taking time to adjust. I dont want him into get in this mess. Its not his battle Aunty. I dont want wo mujhe koi kamzor aurat samjhe, ya phir ye ke meina unka use kia. Bus bina expect kia i just want keep loving him. Plus he is dating someone else” She smiled like she always does when talking about her Aru. After Uncle and Aunty sat with her and talked to her she felt little better. But she was worried about Aryan he wont speak to her not even give a chance.

*ping* She checked her phone, it was Aryan.

“You come to my house right now Imlie varna mujhe burs koi nai hoga😡” he was pissed for sure. Maybe he is calling her over to talk.

She went there happily, that he came into sense and ready to listen to her. She told the couple she will be late. They told her to be careful.

When she reached his house, she went into living room and what she saw -the ground beneath gave away. She stood there speechless and frozen. Aadtiya was sitting on sofa slumped hand on his eyes as if he is crying and Aryan had hand on his shoulder trying to console him.

I was wondering why he (Aditya) was so quiet and avoiding her! He seems to want to harm her!

Her friendship with Aryan is really sweet. But it's understandable that she didn't want to share her personal problems with him. I really hope he understands her point before he makes any big decision. She really needs support because being from a village and without help she won't be able to get rid of the Tripati's so easily.

Hoping she stays strong and get the support she needs!

No no aditya can't act like bechara... She didn't said about her truth that doesn't mean she is guilty or had done wrong so why she has to bear all this nonsense crap...

Chap 14.

They both saw her at the same time, Aadtiya quickly got up and ran to her , hold her by elbow.

“Tum aagayi Imlie, kitna miss kia tumhe.. kyu kar rahi ho aisa” He pleaded. Imlie stood there expressionless, she was lost.

“Sir, bole na Imlie se kuch bol nai rahi. Naraz hai mujhse abhi bhi. Aapko kaha tha na mane please sir” he was folding his hands in front of Aryan begging him to help him.

Aryan finally spoke, “Imlie laga ke tum muje dost manti ho, par tumne mujhe do baar ehsaas dilaya ke main..khair mein abhi bhi dost manta hu isliye i want to tell you ke you should go back with Aadtiya.”

“Kahe?”Imlie finally broke her silence, she wanted to know what is going on.

“Wo tumhara pati hai” She hold her hand up before she say something , Aadtiya went on his knees and grabbed her leg “Jaan sorry bolana , jo bolugi wahi karunga. Yeh thik nai lagta jo tum kar rahi ho”

“Chodo hume “ Imlie losing her patience.

“Sir bolona ise meri koi baat nai sun rahi hai. Mein mar jauga iske bina. I love her” he looked at her and gave a smile and made crying face again.

“Aadtiya, shayad mujhe aur meri dost ko akele mein baat karna chaye. I promise you, she will come to your house tonight. I will drop her personally . And i am sorry for all the trouble. I didnt know my being with her is going to lead her on. “ Imlie looked at them confused. What has he spoken from monster mouth. She kept silent she wanted to have this talk alone anyways. Before leaving , he hugged her and dug his nails in her back. She yelped silently nevertheless she just stood there. Aryan grabbed her from the entrance and took her upstairs to his room. This is the first time , Imlie saw his room. “I dont want chacha to listen to this, beti maante hai tumhe” he said with little disgust in his voice.

“I want honest answer to whatever am about to ask, tumhe meri kasam” She nodded.

“You love me?”His was heavy with emotion.

She looked up suprised “Whaat?” Maybe she didnt hear it right

“Are you in love with me?” He closed his eyes, he was losing his patience with her today.

“Yes” She replied showing no emotion. She couldnt lie today kasam de di ek sawal pucha wo bhi ye.

“Imlie.. how can you?? You are married!! I mean its wrong on so many levels. Wo bichara aaj khud ko rok nai paaya. Usne bataya ke you are in love with me Because of that you left your in laws. Imlie i didnt know meri dost aisi ho sakti hai. Tumhari saas , she is sick because you left them to answer the world Imlie! What pyar Imlie!? Ab samaj aa raha hai ke tum wo pizza place pe kyu kaam kar rahi ho. Ghar chor dia hai, guest house mein rehti ho, divorce notice bhi behj dia. You know how guilty i am feeling?? How disgusted i am at myself? That our friendship is turning somebody life hell!! “He yelled at her did not give her chance to speak. He was huffing in anger. Imlie stood there shocked at the revelation. Shocked at the amount of trust he has on her. Zilch. None. He listened to that disgusting monster, and now he is yelling at her.

“Imlie, agar tumne kabhi mujhe dost mana hai, aaj tum apne ghar jaogi varna humari dosti khatam” it hurted him to say that but he had to do it. He cannot be a homewrecker.

“Aryan-“Imlie spoke up

He raised his hand to stop her from talking.

“I saw him Imlie, he broke down infront of me. He begged me to make you understand. I dont want this drama Imlie i care for you i want you to do the right thing Imlie” he grabbed her elbow trying to put sense in her.

She laughed, a tear escaped from here eyes - a sad laugh. “I love you and I have no shame in that. Did I ever made you feel otherwise? Did i ever made you feel embarassed then why are you feeling disgusted?? Is it wrong to love? Did i ever asked you? Yes all my actions my care was because of love, also you are best friend first Aryan . Yes i love you and i dont have any shame in that”

“Stop it Imlie!! What love love laga ke bethi ho. Its not love Imlie!! Please baat ko samjho. I am loosing my patience. Ab tum kuch nai bologi.. you are going to your in laws house. Mere liye Imlie humare dosti ki vaaste, please dont complicate this anymore. I will be always your friend but tum jo chati ho woh galat hai. Bus!! Dont you dare say anything” he grabbed her and took her downstairs.

Imlie was done. She knew he will not listen to her today. Hell, she doesnt even want to tell him anything anymore, he says i broke his trust- but he broke mine. He is not ready to even listen to her. Friend what friend. Sab jooth hai except her love. She only had pure love. And for that love, for his promise, she will just do as he says. He wants to drop her there so be it. She always fought her battle alone she never needed anyone anyways today also she will fight. Just to givr Aru satisfaction, to take his guilt and disgust away she is ready to go back to the hell house. His promise bounding her.

Before she sat in her car, she thought of her only wish she ever had to kiss him. Anyways the truth of her love is out not the way she wanted it was ruined by the monster nevertheless she has lost everything what can she lose more.

“Ruko” She ordered Aryan. She went closer to him and closed her eyes daring herself to do what she is about toz. She cupped his cheeks and kissed him on lips. Aryan eyes went wide in shock. She kissed him on both his cheeks, on his nose and finally his forehead. Aryan was suprised at her boldness after all the shouting and screaming , she just kissed him.

“WHAT THE HELL IMLIE!” He shouted at her.

“Chalo hum beth gaye “ she opened the door and sat on passenger seat looking on the road.

Aryan have had it, he is not sure whats come over Imlie but hopefully once she is back in her house, some sense gets into her.

Imlie stayed silent and so did Aryan. She looked outside. Smiling at what would her mother would have said.

Jogan. The word again so apt for her. Ready to be stupid in love ready for everything for him.

She never knew this side of her, she just followed what her soul, her heart told her to do. She doesnt have anything to lose.

No no no she is going back to him! Dreading what is coming😭😭

Fight for your self Imlie!

Why didn't she scream and stop him. Oh goodness! She should resign from work and move on in life! No use trying to make someone understand when they already have formed an opinion about you!

She should have not gotten into the car with him. Break the friendship and move on in life!
