The show is Imlie. She is the core character. But I feel for Aryan more. Why?

I mean she had gone through a lot of bitter experience. And I should sympathize with her. But I can't. Why?

Many times I could be justified Malini dialogue not her actions more than Imlie. Why?

Why can't I able to connect with Imlie? Why??????

you are all of us...

well it's a challenge to progress a character like imlie, because there are a certain traits in her that the audience likes...

but it will happen slowly, she progressed a lot in december episodes but regressed badly come feb... and now downright unrelatable, but i think that is to justify this forced wedding track...

on face value what aryan is doing is wrong... so how do you make it acceptable with the audience without making him the bad guy? make her pathetic... simple

I feel more for everyone other than Imlie at this point lol...can't make sense of her character one way or another at all.

I do sympathise with the old Imlie to a certain point and even the forced marriage one but it's the fact that she's not listening to anyone or anything that her eyes see anymore.

She doesn't seem to care about the Rathore's not celebrating holi for 4 years, she doesn't seem to care much about what Arpi was saying about Imlie bringing lightness in to their world. She only uses it for her childish fight with Aryan to 'prove' something🙄
How do I care about a character that doesn't seem to care about anyone else but Aparna Tripathi and Adi to some extent🤢

Because Malini stayed the same in her core character, from day one she was willing to drop everything for Aditya and she's still the same, just more exaggerated. Also she's willing to take action and do what she wants instead of crying in a corner all day long and acting beyond helpless.

I don't think anyone can connect to Imlie at all, or even the disjointed scenes in the show. Things are happening but there's no payoff at all.

Same Girl! Same!

I think the problem is that she is not making any sense right now.

I love Imlie, like so much, but right now, she is so focused on this revenge thing and not getting married, that she has lost her sight.

Her empathy, her greatest strength that always attracted me to her character, seems to be lost right now, and especially with Aryan.

Liking Aryan is inevitable. The story is going in a way that, we see this guy, an amazing guy, and he cares for someone, and we like that someone, so we begin to like the guy too.

Aryan is that guy, and for me, I like Imlie, yes she is lost right now, but Aryan has cared for Imlie in the best of times, and he is continuing to do just that, to the extent of butchering his own character.

So I like Aryan more and more every day, because his capability of caring isn't lost, just his will to let Imlie make her decisions on her own.

This is the problem, she has empathy for everyone but Aryan and The Rathore's it seems, she'd drop the world for Apu (undeserved cos what's Apu done for her lol) but doesn't even feel sympathy for Arpi or Narmada, especially when they said, they didn't celebrate holi in 4 years and all she cared about was sulking during holi😒

She takes Aryan and his family for granted when they've been her only support apart from Meethi and Dada. All these people she has no empathy for and their priority is at the bottom.

I think, she has made Arpita and Narmada her weapons against Aryan. Here are two women who Aryan cares for, more than the world. And the problem is, while she accuses Aryan of using her, she is using his family against him too. Today, she melted when Narmada and Arpita were talking to her, but when their backs turned, she attacked Aryan with the guilt of disappointing his family.

I seriously hoped that they would show her character to react more than she did when she heard that dialogue, because, maybe just for me, I saw a flash, but it was so immediately gone, and that's just... sloppy.

Aparna is an overly simplified character whose actions, better or worse, can be justified only by the love of her son, and Imlie is stupid for wanting that woman in her life.

Also, Malini, a character that had so much potential, and all her potential was realised in the most predictable way ever.

Is it new? A character like Malini turning negative when she loses the male lead?

Malini's best character trait was her ability to speak harsh facts, even when she knew those would end up to hurt her only.

And sometimes, every word she spoke made much more sense than the other characters of the show.

I was so happy when KC came in the story, thought Malini would find a friend to make her see sense outside of the Tripathi family and she would move on from her unrequited love.

I'm not saying a girl needs a man to move on or to stand on her own two feet.

Back then, Malini was very accomplished and had a career and everything else going for her. It's just clear that she wanted a significant other who loved her as much as she loved him instead of fulfilling a gehri dost🙄

KC was a gem and they did him so dirty. That wasn't even funny.

What is it about Aditya Kumar Tripathi that the ladies go gaga over him?

Or even the Tripathis?
