What if Malini tried to commit suicide again or actually succeeded this time and the blame was laid on Adi (and maybe a little on Imlie too). It could be alleged that Adi instigated Malini into suicide coz he wanted to be with Imlie, which as we know can be proved to be true. As this is happening Adi could be simultaneously chasing Imlie and claiming he is willing to go to jail for Malini's suicide as long as Imlie comes back to him. Adi could even claim that that time in jail would be penance for his many sins on Imlie. However, we all know Imlie is not keen on her 'family' being without Adi so asks Aryan for some advice. Aryan suggests a fake marriage plan but Imlie balks at the idea coz well it sounds a lot OTT. Cue the scene where Aryan is pushing Imlie against the wall and asking her if she wanted to save Adi or not. Adi suspects, believing because of her conditioning Imlie could never wear any other man's sindoor other than his own, especially Aryan's. So he demands they actually perform the rituals in front of him to see if Imlie would actually allow another man to put his sindoor on her. Cue the real marriage with all rituals.
Given the number of theories we've come up with, I really wanted it to be Imlie who was initiating it, but AKT ghus gaya beech mein. 🤣 Anyway, even if the initial fake ploy is Imlie’s idea, it will be cute. 😆 Then Aryan can do the force/convince using AKT/the 50-50 partnership and they get married.
