The last two episodes have been such a bore to watch. Two complete stranger families playing Hum Saat Saat Hain under the same cheap roof. The TRPs will reflect this. That brings me to a few points about the uncreative creatives of this show:
1. When in doubt, sell Imlie to the traffickers. That's the motto of the professor-turned-assaulter, Malini, a woman by all other accounts. Yet, Rapini avoided jail time for assault, so there is no way she's going to jail for this one even if Aryan wants her to.
2. The hiccupy-cry saas who always sides with the mistress or other woman from whichever sister her son is married to at the moment, just blames everyone but her useless son for getting "derailed." Was Nishant derailed when he left the house? Was Dhruv derailed when he apparated with his wife (POOF)? Their parents don't even care that they disappeared or that Nishant has cancer, why are they bothered that the wooden Aditya will leave the house?
3. Speaking of wooden... Who is that robot who picked up his phone to talk rentals? Bless this guy and his expression-free acting. He gets mad when Aryan, the payer of the mortgage, sits at the head of the table. He gets mad when Aryan points out his professional jealousy, but I just can't see it. It must be me. I know he's going for the stern and emotionless pain of a hurt character, but someone tell this Manasvi that emotionless doesn't mean expressionless in acting.
4. Rapini wants to vomit out her deepest secrets to the man who cut her down to size at the first meeting. Why? And what is in it for Imilie? Why is Aryan and his whole family helping her in this ridiculous plan to come take care of her "ma" at her ex-in-laws? How does any of it accomplish anything for the progress of the show?
5. Imlie's life tips to Rapini include telling her that being bahu means laying down on the sword for the family that doesn't appreciate you. Then her bhashan to Aryan is that she likes voluntarily coming to this house and making puris for all the useless do-nothing ex-male in-laws of her house who like her cooking. Why does a woman have to be good at everything while the men are good at neither job (Aditya) nor household duties? Why is this show promoting ridiculous standards of what a bahu should do - bring home the dough AND stay at home and make puris for everyone at the same time - all with a smile on the face?
6. Do the CVs know yet what Aryan's big plan is if it isn't the professional destruction of Aditya?
7. How does Imlie say she doesn't know what boyfriend means while at the same time telling Aryan to own the romantic accusations made against them? It can't be both. It has to be one.
8. Why is Aryan in love with Imlie who has learned absolutely nothing about rising up from her doormat status? At his home, I got the attraction. What is the attraction to the girl who fell on the sword for the ex-in-laws? Is he also a chauvinist like the rest who expects the woman to make every sacrifice for "the family?"
9. What is the point of Nishant? Can we cut him by sending him to Australia already? He can get better treatment there, it's not like his parents care.
10. Who will teach Malini to say "Mr. Rathore" properly? It's Rathore, not Mr. RaTHHHOOUUR.
11. Why are the Rathores so comfortable in a house like Aditya's? Why is Aditya comfortable telling off the owners of the house for his "work?" Who the fish is he? Why is this kind of arrogance and entitlement attractive with a man who can't afford anything and yet living off his wife and boss?
12. Why is Aparna still alive?
