Maybe he knows it will effect Aditya and it is a part of his plan? Not necessarily being sick but just having Imlie be the CEO knowing what the outcome will be?
Hopefully it is just me but the camera lingering on him made me wonder.
I know he has explicitly said he will never use Imlie to get to Aditya but what if PD trip changed him? Weird plot hole since we never really got to see that change occur but again forgive me for me and my kaali zubaan.

Like I said very early on, I don't want him to drop his revenge, especially not for Imlie. I think it is important he sees it through.
Petty Aru>>> Like we have seen him be petty a lot of times ( I love it!) I think it is one of those moments where he is doing this for Imlie but as a side benefit he is getting to see adi squirm. It is like getting a kick out of something, but even it is, it will be secondary. He won't actively use Imlie... he has given his word and I will trust that.
