Chowmein

Imlie was baffled something was definitely wrong her ABP, he hadn't said a word since they came back from PD after saving Aditya and her family.

She knew that it was because she was always talking about Babusaheb, but it is very difficult to let him go just like.

Im- (thinks)- Wait a minute...why did i call him my ABP..and why am i so bothered that he is not shouting or talking to me?

Arpi-(shaking her)- Imlie !!!

Im- Huh. Haan di...

Arpi- I was calling you..kahan khoyi hui ho?? Waise yeh Aru itna chup kyun hain..jhagada kiya kya tum dono ne??

Im- Nahi Di aise kuch nahi hain..

Arpi- Aacha koi nahi..waise ek secret baat rahi hun. Jab bhi iss UNB ka mood karab hota hain na..toh mein uske chow mein bana deti hu..saara gussa gayab.

Imlie nodded absent mindedly, she quickly went to the kitchen and cooked Chow mein for him with the help of cooking videos.

She went to his room, with the bowl of full of Chow mein. She knocked at his door,

Ar- Di? Aap kab se knock karni lagi.. he opened the door to see Imlie standing.

Im- Hum andar aa jaye?? Hum ee chowmein bhi le kar aaye hain tumhari liye.

Ar- Aa jao.. wahan table pe rakh do..mein baad kha lunga..

Im- (sighs and keeps the tray on the coffee table.)- No..tum abhi khao isse.

Ar- 🤨🤨

Im- Aree..ABP..tum itne shaant aache nahi lag rahe ho. Tum humko daanto, jungli bulao. But aise na aacha nahi lag raha hain hume.

Im- Tum baat nahi karna toh punishment bhi de do..woh bhi chalega.

Ar- Theek hain..toh tum apne haathon se mujhe yeh khilao.

Im- Han..nahi.. haath se nahi..yeh dandiya sticks hain isse..

Ar- 😑😑 woh chopsticks hain Imlie..

Im- Han kuch bhi ho.. chalo aao idhar..

Aryan smirks, he felt like he had finally won from that AKT even though it felt like a idiot but he couldn't see someone wasting there for him.

Control

Aryan had always told Imlie to not let the control of their life to anyone. But now it felt like he was losing control, he looked at his drink and understood it was tampered with.

Imlie couldn't help but feel awkward in the Tripathi house, she had been working on keeping a distance from Aditya and his family but somehow they still end up in their house celebrating Rupi di's birthday.

Suddenly she left Aryan holding her hand and dragging some where,

Im- Mr Fast Forward kya hua..

Ar- (smiling cutely)-I th..think i am drunk..i wanna go home..please take me back..i ..ca..nt let anyone see me like this.

On one hand Imlie was laughing but she knew how important appearances and being in control was for him. She steadied him and left quickly through the front door, sending a message to Arpita that they are going back home.

Car- (Mrs Lambigaadi)

Imlie made sure Aryan sat properly in the car and had put the seat belt on him, and then went to the driver side, silently sending out a prayer

Im- Dekhiye Mrs..Lambigaadi aaj na aapke Mr. Ki tabiyat karab hain, so please cooperate karna ki hum safely ghar paunch jaye.

Cute

Halfway through the car ride Aryan and woken up, and started singing in his horrible voice. And when they finally reached home he wouldn't come out of the car,

Im- Aare ABP, please utho..mein itni komal nazuk jaan tumhare bhoj nahi utha paayegi..

Ar- Nahi..tum mujhe..uss Babuuuuusaheb ke liye chod dogi na..no i am not going anywhere 🥺🥺😒

Im- Aare aacha promise, hum tumko chod nahi jaane wale hain. Ab chalo na..

Somehow, Imlie had dragged Aryan back to his room, and he had feel asleep the minute he laid down, Arpita and Kaki Ma came after half an hour,

Arpi- Imlie.. Aru theek hain na..

Im- Han di..lagta hain..galti se thodi pi li thi..

N- Par Aru ko sharab bikul aachi nahi lagti hain.

Arpi- Yeh zaarur uss Anu ya Malini ka kaam hoga..

Im- Aap log shaant jayea..sab theek hain..he is sleeping now..

N- Thank you beta uska khayal rakhne ke liye..

Im- Kaki Ma..aap thank you mat boliye..aap log mere liye bhaut important ho..

Cut (the scene we all wanted after the party)

Aryan hissed in pain, he was totally right Imlie was really a jungli, and man did she really had to elbow him so hard. But in some dark corner of his mind, he enjoyed it as well. It made him feel alive.

He had just taken off his shirt to apply anti septic cream, when Imlie came waltzing in,

Im- Mr. ABP hum yeh lep le kar aaye hain tumhare liye. She was surprised seeing him half naked and quickly turned around.

Ar- Room mein aane se phele knock karte hain Imlie.

Im- Aare humko kya pata tum..

Ar- Mein kya??

Taking a deep breath she turned around, looking down she came and stood infront of him,

Im- Yeh lo..ghav pe laga lo..

Ar- Chot tumne di hain..toh lep bhi tum lagao.

Imlie looked at him with wide eyes, Aryan was himself was surprised at his demand. Having no other option she put the lep on him, and he was subtly checking her out.

They didn't realize they were leaning closer to each other, but before anything could happen Arpita had come with Haldi ka doodh.

Imlie ran away, she felt guilty that she was in a betraying Aditya..how could she think of moving on and being attracted to someone so easily. No she had to keep her distance..no matter what..

Distance.

After the almost kiss with Aryan, she had kept her distance with him. She wasn't rude or anything but she wouldn't fight with him or order him around.

Aryan was definitely confused, he actually looked forward to her antics, the useless devotion to Aditya and their fights,

Ar- Isse kya ho gaya? I didn't even say anything this time. Aur na hi Aditya has taunted her..phir itni chup kyun..

Ar- Isse baat karni padegi..

After dinner he had went to talk to her, and she had behaved so formally, now he was getting angry,

Ar- (grabbing her arms)- Hua kya hain?? Aise kyun behave kar rahi ho??

Im- Leave me..humko dard ho raha hain.. he leaves her arms and says sorry.

Im- Hume kuch nahi hua hai..hum bas apne kaam par dhyan dene chathe hain..aur kuch nahi.

Ar- Kaam mein itna bhi mat doobna ki you lose yourself..tum haste hue..aur nautanki karte hui hain aachi lagti ho.

He left the room, but he didn't see the small smile on her lips. It felt good that someone cared for her for a change.

Devotion

Aryan hated this mindless devotion that Imlie had for Aditya. Yes he was her husband for some time, but now he had a wife and he had his family to take care of him as well.

She was sad after a particular fight with Aditya which was filled with taunts and humiliation, he couldn't control himself,

Ar- Kya milta hain.. apni bezzati karwa ke?? Thak nahi jaati ho bar bar ek hi taunts sunn ke..uski biwi hain uska khayal rakhne ke liye.

Ar- Tumhare liye hum hain mein, Ma aur di..par tumhe humari value hi nahi hain..you need to decide.

Decision.

It was after being thrown into jail and suffering so much to get Aditya back from PD that she had decided to put a full stop to the nonsense after Malini again accused her

M- Yeh sab problem nahi hoti agar yeh Imlie Aditya ko force nahi karti PD jane ke liye..

Im- Malini Didi..aap mere alwa wahan ke interns se puch li jaye..Mr.Tripathi ne khud wahan jaane ke faisla kiya tha..

Im- Aur waise..mujhe aap ya aapke Aditya se ladne ka koi shauq nahi hain..(turning toward Aparna)- Ma..agar aapko mujhse baat karni hain toh aap mujhe phone kijye par yahan aane ko mat boliye ga..please.

Ap- Theek hain..par thank you ki tumne mere Aditya ko baacha liya.

Im- Waise thanks humare partner ko bhi boliye..

Ap- Partner..

Im- Haan ..Mr Rathore..humare 50 50 wale partner...

Desperate

Aryan was totally scared, he knew that after knowing that even Meethi was missing Imlie would definitely go ballistic and he was right, the jungli was ready to go into the village which had several bomb trap ready to kill anyone.

Imlie was ready to go when Aryan held her tightly from behind, she kept on thrashing and in a desperate attempt to stop her he said,

Ar- Please don't go..mein tumhe kho nahi sakta hun..i promise mein tumhare babusaheb, ma aur naani ko dhoondne mein tumhari madad karunga..but please don't do anything stupid.

Imlie stood still, for the first time she was seeing the vulnerable Aryan, who was as afraid as she was to lose people close to her..

Im- Okay..

Ar- Come on..and meri baat suna koi faltu ki herogiri nahi.

Im- Yes Sir..

Dinner

Things had been good after the Aatank and PD visit, they still haven't shared their feelings with each other but they were pretty sure it was all mingled now.

Though they had kept professional in the office but at home, there were small smiles given to each other. Blushing and little touches here and there.

Today Aryan had decided to cook something for Imlie, she had working hard since the past few months so he had made Kadi Chawal for her, she was utterly surprised,

Im- Aare.. what happened to mein 8 baje ke baad carbs nahi khata??

Ar- Aaj maan kiya..to do something for you..

They fed each other, while continuing their office work. Narmada and Arpita were watching them with a smile on their face, finally they both were getting the happiness they deserve..

Aditya Kumar Tripathi is feeling envious of Imlie..yes the girl he loved. How could a 19 year old teenage girl be better at journalism then him who had at least 10 years of experience.

He couldn't digest the fact that her article got published in the first page, now he was definitely sure that something was going on between her and Aryan.

Ev- Congratulations Imlie..

Im- Thank you..

Adi- Congratulations Imlie..tumne toh bikul theek jagah connections bana ke rakhe hain. Intern ka phele article woh bhi front page mein.

Ar-(clapping)- Wow Mr.Tripathi ek senior ho ke..itni jealousy woh bhi ek intern se..??

Ar- You want to know ki why i put Imlie's article in the front. Kyunki mein aapki writing se bore ho gaya hun.

Ar- Newspapers mein sirf karnti dikhne ki zaroorat nahi hoti hain. Kabhi kabhi chote chote log, unka kaam and unke business ko limelight mein lana zaarori hota hain.

Ar- And hum ek aise field mein jahan growth hona zaarori hain..jab tak aap apni soch nahi change karegaye..i don't know kal koi intern aap se aage nikal jaye..

Everyone tried to control their laughter, Aryan glared at them and ordered to get back to work and while going back to the office he whispered to Imlie,

Ar- Proud of Miss Imlie..

Emptiness

Aryan was playing with the food, Narmada and Arpita were smiling, when suddenly Arpita spoke,

Arpi- Imlie!! Tum wapas aa gayi😏😏. Aryan turned quickly towards the door but there were no one. He glared at Arpita and she started laughing.

N- Aru..tujhe uski yaad aa rahi hain to chala ja na Pakdandiya.

Ar- Mein kyun jaun.. khud toh chali gayi mujhe bina batye..

Arpi- Aare uski Nani ki tabiyat karab ho gayi thi aachank..bechari bhul gayi ho gayi hogi.

Ar- Whatever..he went back to his room.

N- Bikul baache ki tarah zid kar raha hain.

Aryan did his nightly routine and laid on the bed. He tried to sleep but he missed having Imlie in his arms, he remembered how she fell asleep while ran his fingers in her hair.

He had a fitful sleep, and by the next day he had decided to go and meet Imlie. He cannot bare the emptiness in his room and his heart without her.

Enamored.

He had met a lot of girls in his life, he was so close to marrying a high society girl before Arvind's death.

But Imlie was different, she was beautiful without even trying. She didn't need those makeup things, just a little bit of Kohl and lip balm and she was done.

But today was different, they were going out fir their first dinner date. He had wore this suit

Earrings

Aryan opened his cupboard and took an antique box, it was filled with different things which all belonged to Imlie. Her payal, the pen she had lost and now the silver earrings which she had 'lost' in his car.

Imlie was tossing and turning her room, her things were suddenly starting to get lost, like her payal and now her earrings..

Im-(talking to herself)- Haye Sita Miyaaa..meri favorite earrings thi..hume kay kar ab..

Ar- Imlie?? Kya hua??

Im- Aare humko lagta hain..tumhare ghar mein chor hain..meri saari cheezein chori ho rahi hain.

Ar- Chor..🤨🤨

Im- Aur nahi toh kya..ab kya karu mein..meri pass kuch hain hi nahi kaan mein daalne ke liye..

Ar- Ek kaam karo..di se baat karo unke pass bahut saare earrings hain..tumhe shayad koi pasand aa jaye..

She hummed and went to talk to Arpita, but she didn't feel like taking anything from her. She came back to her room, and saw box filled with earrings and a note,
