The nanny comment, I honestly did not find anything objectionable about it. The age reference, I thought was very unnecessary. They did not bring it up all this time, why now? And then something about TRP and 2 losers being on TV. I am not sure if these are casual dialogs or were meant as barbs. If it is the latter, it is highly immature and very unprofessional on part of the writers! 🤷‍♀️

I was a big adilie fan myself and do feel arylie romance is forced but disappointed with GMs exit. He knew when he was getting into that such kinda shows runs minimum 3-4 years. I totally understand we are no one to comment on his professional decision but to me it came as a project manager resigned from the project when it was at its critical stage and he knew it before time how long it will be for. Well, both situations no one is wrong as we have to take the best decisions for ourselves but not fair to blame one party alone. I couldn’t connect with Barun after his rushed exit from IPKKND for personal vacation. They know they are getting into 3-4 years commitment then suddenly why rushed exits? Also, PH spend great deal of money, they don’t want their shows to tank, GM leaving has left them 50% chance if show will be accepted again like before. Disappointed but won’t blame only one party.

May I please ask the new Arylie peeps to cut some slack to the Adilie peeps. I am not sure if y'all have watched the show from earlier, but Gashmeer did do an incredible job of portraying and developing the very, very flawed character of Aditya. The nuances and fine tuning he brought in to the character were an absolute treat to watch, and while it was definitely team work, I doubt that a character as flawed as Aditya would have been this well received had it not been for Gashmeer.

So very understabdably, people are upset! The dynamic that Sumbul and Gash created as Imlie and Adi was truly a very enjoyable experience, which is what made people root for them, even though deep down lot of us knew it was wrong, especially to Malini's character.

So please give us time to move on 🥺🥺🥺

Exactly, even I mentioned about the script these days in one of my replies. Infact am okay with the age reference but today's trp and looser thing felt personal...at first I actually laughed at it but then these lines felt like these have been purposely used to target Aditya as well as GM.

If they actually did it bcoz of the issues with GM then it's highly unprofessional on their part, just for fun they cannot publicly defame someone. 😏

If Adni nd Arylie is d endgame then GM won't have anything to perform rather than being Malini's puppet nd that's wat makers wanted . Adni remarriage nd d disgusting track of Adi redeeming for psycho dd (apparently adi is responsible 4 her being rapist nd finally he falls 4 her nd imlie will move on with Aryan) no one can accept such a stupid storyline where d hero of d show will b sidelined and made a mere caricature dancing to d tunes of dd so he had to take d decision of quitting d show. The dir was adamant to sideline nd butcher him to prop up new entry nd psycho finally forcing him to quit. D director is confident that show will run wo Gashmeer and decided to replace him. Tbh no one deserves such a harsh treatment which Gashmeer faced nd ppl pointing fingers on him about his professionalism better watch out. Most imp Aryan is standing tall on the ashes of Aditya Kumar Tripathi only a guy with grit nd guts will allow his char to b butchered to prop up someone. If Adi wasn't butchered and made dumb Adi ni would never hppon nd ppl won't hate him nd AR lie can't hpon so all these were a strategy. Let me c how d show runs without Gashmeer if it runs its well nd good but don't d ph 4get it's Gashmeer and Sumbul who made this show nd its difficult to play a grey shaded char without any whitewashing nd still earn accolades, praise nd love frm d audience. I actually don’t know what is happening outside the show and why GM is quitting. Unless either GM or the PH or an actor from show comes and says clear cut what happened, I am not going to speculate.

I don’t know about the reason for butchering, but I’ve been watching ITV for 2 decades now and I have seen worse butchering and the leads getting back together. There were shows were the ML cheated on the FL, and sometimes consciously got involved in an extra marital affair and still managed to remain the ML. For example, Kkusum’s Abhay was having an affair with Kkusum’s best friend. kkusum was the title character and she divorces Abhay and marries Sidharth (a really amazing guy too), and after a few months, Sidharth was killed and Abhay and Kkusum gets married again. So, whoever is the titular character and her current husband has to be the lead is not ITV true. The kind of s*ut shaming that Adi did, even Angad from KYPH had done, and every time Angad and Kripa have a misunderstanding, he would start sleeping around and he was the lead throughout though it was a love triangle in the beginning. In a mega serial that runs for 100+ episodes, no crime of a ML is that big that cannot be redeemed over the course of the show.

Till GM’s exit was announced, I believed that Aryan was a temporary character and the end game was Adilie. So, I am not in those that believe that Adi was butchered to build Aryan. Only very recently Aryan was given the hero vibe, before that makers were very careful to keep his character flexible to make him either a villain or hero, depending on the audience feedback. And we might witness a much worse butchering on Aryan’s character, when his ex-gf enters. An ex-gf is an ITV must since forever.

anyway, GM is a very talented actor. He has proved his metal and has build a brand name for himself, so if not this show, he will bounce back with another amazing show or film.

I don’t think there has ever been a hint during the recent tracks that Adini was the end game. If Adini was the end game then during Adini marriage track, the focus wouldn’t be on Adilie and Arylie dynamics. There was absolutely no focus or growth on Adini. Only focus was on Adi-Imlie-Aryan and Malini as an individual character. Adini marriage happened with all kinds of bad omen, hinting that the relationship was doomed.

No one clearly knows the reason for Gash's exit. Everything is speculation. Toh let's not say things like one actor is riding on another's success etc. If Gash really had an issue with his character being butchered, think about Mayuri. How they changed her arc!

Besides, saying things like this will hurt the actor's reputation. See based on what we *think* are the reasons for his leaving, we have people pinning him as unprofessional etc.

Yes, if the PH was really taking digs on him with the nanny reference, the age, 2 losers etc., it's probably well and good that Gash left such pettiness.

There are clearly 2 sets of audience, pre-Aryan ans post-Aryan. We should just think that the old serial ended, and a new one started with a different cast. And if the show holds any interest with the new story, cast etc., watch it. Nahin toh, we wait for Gash to annoince his next project. ❤❤❤

if the slandering on MD is true and she holds this iron grip hold on the director and the crew of this show, then wouldn’t she have used that clout to actually keep her character as a positive lead? She was one of the leads of the show who was turned to the vamp. If she had such clout wouldn’t she have got the PH to instead of casting FK, got another actor on par with GM’s ability and screen presence, and insisted on the makers showing her journey with a new romantic interest instead of bringing down all of her character sketch and arcs to one single line, “Adi’s psycho ex.” Specially when in IK her character had a proper journey and growth, and they had material also to work on.

Here all of her storyline and arcs revolves around Imlie, there is nothing else to her character now. If that is what her hold on the crew of this show is giving her, then I don’t know what to say.

The original bengali storyline didn't have situation where Malini again remarries Aditya... The story got twisted to suite wide India context... This is not in any actor's hand. Gashmeer had tried to move out even in Aug/Sep 2021. This made the producers look for a backup. They had Fahman given an understanding that there will be a love track with Imlie. (This is all published by respective actors publicly). But very much sure.. none would have realized that the script writing dips to low levels. On positive side, the serial has its merits of good actors still in show. Gashmeer has left... but others still exist... and show has to go on till channels get impacted. For all you know Gashmeer would have allowed the script writers to take liberty of word 'Nanny', 'TRP' etc.. These are common nouns... can be used anywhere.. we cannot blame the writer's here... The fault lies in bringing prolonged slow motions, the overdid bollywood dances, the hyped too many falls of Imlie for someone to hold her hand., the heroism of a 19+ who remains in reality caught in 2 houses and actually seems too comfortable and not too bothered about studies or career goals and infact even never questions the producer that it is getting too farce. Even a struggling fresher stay in so many lodges.So the story glorifies the dominating male type scenarios and almost all serials there have same type of story line. Maybe this is what is lapped by audience..

A handsome hunk...and some vulnerable lady... and all around ensemble cast waiting for their turns for some dialogs. It has become a stereotyped formulae unfortunately.
