You might be right but from viewers standpoint ,their (specifically Indian Daily soaps) execution is bleh ! They look like dumb idiots or maybe they think we are dumb idiots.

@bold.. TRPs to be blamed.. as all these well thought, well made, well planned scene would end up as nothing if they dont fetch TRPs...

believe me if TV shows would not be dictated by TRPs story telling in them could be much more significant and worth analyzing as deep as one can get.

and TRPs are there cause viewers have no intelligent shows to experience yet.. all they hav junk food in name of fulfilling their hunger for entertainment and they hvnt tasted what real healthy food looks and feels.

And no maker can take risk of breaking this conventional path of serving junk in name of entertainment... so until someone takes that bold step (Anupama did..we have to suffer )

Yes.. it just feels tantrum to him (and to me as you mentioned now)

tantrum that a teenager would throw to show off how much he can go to prove he is better (in such childish acts.. she was indeed behaving like a teenage there) when in reality they hardly have any real life knowledge and experience to back that Betterment.

I hope Aru helps her in grow to know there is more to life than just throwing tantrums and enjoy seeing people's reaction on those tantrums

His body language gets really tight with the frustration. Then he acts with his hand when he lets go of his interlaced fingers once she drinks the water. I thought that was so well done.

yes bingo.. that was well done too.. those interlaced fingers talks abt tension in the scene between the character.. and as soon as we had the water to sooth ut down he relaxes his fingers too ...

these are indeed well done things from the POV of storytelling and cinematography

@bold 2: Imlie thinking of Babusaheb as devata, satanic bhi, rubs me the wrong way. I hope they break out of the ITV mold and give us a sensible Imlie who thinks things through before calling Aryan a male-Malini.

P.S: I have not thought of Daniel Pearl for a long time. What happened to Daniel Pearl....was beyond horrific. That event and the sheer barbaric nature of it stayed with me for a long time. I was shocked to realize it still has the same power to make my heart ache and my gut twist.

@ppak I didn’t get the vibe that he was sending Adi to PD to get him killed or hurt, I think his intention is to get Adi humiliated there, maybe by unable to get the interview and return back failed. I have always thought that he is very aware of his attraction to her and is consciously tamping his feelings down because as he says he does not want to show his emotions and as Malini said ASR never lets anyone know his motivations. But he is not unaware or slowly getting there. He is an intelligent man very adept at reading his own feelings. He also knows she loves Adi very much. So that is an added reason for him to hide his attraction consciously.

He started being possessive a while back when she came back from the interview she did with Adi.

Now that Imlie's break with Adi is clearer and established, we will see him becoming more proprietorial.

With sending Adi - did he not have a monologue where he says go away Adi away from the people who you hurt and don't deserve to be with...it should imply and don't come back. No?

earlier it was only the bad reporter bit - now he also has the whole Imlie humiliation he will try to avenge.
