Aryan at home today, with the women in his life, was the most un-business-like we’ve seen him in the present. He was just a little looser - I don’t know if this is the right word but it’s the most adequate I can come up with right now. Even just when Imlie asked him to cut an onion and he tried to get out of it, or when his mom and sister were on his case, or when Imlie was listing off all the foods she was going to make and he’s like… wth?! I interpreted that as him wondering how much she was going to make. His concern for her, his care for her, despite still probably firmly believing that he has zero interest in her.

I should’ve just sat down and done a proper breakdown of my thoughts for the whole episode because now I keep remembering little things.

1. The way the R’s walk in behind Imlie, there for her, thinking about how best to support her, this wall of strength! I loved that. And each one had a moment of concern for her when she grabbed her stomach.

2. It was really obvious today where this respect for and understanding for women comes from. Aryan was raised by two strong, independent women, who clearly take no crap. Two women who are very progressive in their thoughts, in comparison to the other people we’ve encountered in this show so far. I’m very curious about Narmada’s story, how’d she become the woman she is today. Mother to these two strong humans. But it’s why he sees the potential that Imlie has, because he’s been surrounded by strong female examples since childhood. To him, why shouldn’t she be a strong, independent, free bird. She’s made for more than the people around her to date have given her credit for.

The bold. It's going to go like this isn't it? Imlie will unknowingly do a complete take-over and he'll still be protesting. I kind of like it because if he admitted he was developing a soft spot romantically then it would be too soon. Hell I think even a month from now is too soon. Yes! I firmly believe that until the very last possible second this man is going to deny he feels anything romantic for her. He may begrudgingly admit that as a human being, who is his employee, and thus his responsibility, he feels a sense of responsibility for her well being.

She’ll have complete hold of his heart and until something drastic happens, potentially the very real fear of losing her, he will deny.

I was thinking about this some, and Imlie’s accused him of trying to be the boss of her personal life, I’m extremely confident that this strong stoic man is going to be absolutely so in love with this woman that she’s actually going to be the boss in their personal life.

I’ve seen it mentioned a few times now but Janniya did play today, it was just the instrumental but it was there - right after Imlie left for the kitchen and he was just looking after her just absolutely stunned (and in my opinion, in awe) of her. It also shows up when he leaves the kitchen and tries her food and thinks about how she’s able to find joy in the little things. So it was there today, just more subtle.

he has been portrayed so far as a firebrand boss himself.. he doent take crap from anyone.. uses brain and takes advantage of the situation as a true business like there is no Heart invictus...

but with her he becomes a Moth himself.. and its just heart n only heart.. his brain just goes to hibernation mode... he talks n asks as if he is so curious abt him and his brain cant justify why i am even letting his heart do what it wants...
