I loved TV shows.. hence my name and in last many many many years i hav watched so many shows.. and each one had redemption track of its own.

Those redemption plots were as grand as any Big B movie while overlooking all the trash that char1 "character to be redeemed" threw at other char2 "character they claimed to be in love with" for good 1-2-3 years while redemption was 1 episode long..

where char1 takes bullet for their so called loved and die on the spot..

or they do something unimaginable make char2 to marry someone else as char1 has some terminal illness and they want char2 to be happy...

or there were many more just so many more such plots.

My issue..

Like how come.. where is the story line, where is the narrative arc, and then when char1 tried to be the Mahan Aatma in the name of making char2 happy what you are doing is nothing but guilt tripping that char2 and now they will live this life with a guilt that they dint felt char1's love and concern sooner.. that was outright wrong.

But today.. that Tiny moment when Aryan lets Imlie go with the statement "its ur life and you should decide what to do with it"

this was such a real and believable redemption for a TV character.. and the development till that was marvelous...

Day 1 he takes her phone - wrong

Day 2 he deleted msg from BS - very wrong

Day 3 his sister make him ponder over how everyone has right to their pain and suffering. and he could mute his emotions but not other can do - he thinks well and hard and learns

Day 4 Boy breaks card door and tries to hold her hand so that she wont go into that same toxicity.. but next moment he leaves her hand.. he let her go.. he let her choose.. he let her decide. - He acts

thats a real Redemption of a real human.. who learnt from his past mistakes and knew only way to correct it is to let her decide what she wants to do with her life and he did that...

and then 2 times Imlie fell (and abt to fall) in today's episode he dint move.. he dint even flinch... as if he realized he has no place yet to catch her as she will be back on her feet soon.. she can handle this pain for herself. And am sure he will wait till she comes upto him and asks him "I want you to help me to sort this"..

till then he will be the same Aru i fell for when he was on the sidelines letting her fight her battles without dodging bullets for her.

PS.. I loved Aru already but todays epi made me love him even more than ever.

He totally separated himself from the entitled male syndrome that's affecting the other man in this show. Aryan showed what a true, secure man looks like.

very much agreed..

Aryan has no entitlement when it comes to Imlie.. he is like i care for you but i dont want anything in return...he has such different personalities as businessman Aru n Aru for Imlie and thats makes his caracter so unique.. he can create the boundaries and certainly knows not to overstep them at all...

And as you said he is so secure in his skin that letting Imlie go has zero impact on his male ego.. mostly he dint connect it to his male ego.. it was Imlie when he saved her.. it is Imlie when he let her go.. and it will be Imlie when will decide what to do.. i just love this attitude of his...

Aryan and Adi are like day and night (respectively) in Imlie's life... and now its time for her to move to Brighter Day from those Gloomy nights..

thanks for sharing ur thoughts...
