Despair and Disdain.....you've nailed it with these two terms, GT.

Adi's sense of despair is palpable in everything he's been saying/doing since so many days.....woh saamne se Imlie ko apna despair dikhaata hai even in the moments when he taunts her about moving on so easily......and his despair doesn't register on Imlie one bit. All we get in response is more and more disdain from her....just endless contempt and anger that he is making another mistake. It's like the reason for his mistake doesn't matter - just the fact that he's made the mistake is enough for her to keep reiterating her disdain and contempt for him. And that would also be fine if she would just stick to disdain for real then - but she uses disdain as a mask to shield her own frustration at not being able to make him understand or stop him from making these mistakes. Imlie ko bhi originally Savior complex hi hai but now she is a failed savior basically toh blame dusro pe daalna hai for her own inability to save them.....lol

Adi ko humesha bas Imlie ka saath chahiye tha (just saath was enough for him to feel content - ismein na koi control tha, na kuch forcing.....just simple saath) and Imlie ko pehle saath dena hi nahin tha for so long when he wanted to reveal the truth, aur jab dena shuru kiya, then she wanted bharosa on the M issue and nothing else. They both viewed the basis of their rishta differently, isliye khatam ho gaye.

I personally feel no connect to this Imlie only filled with disdain/contempt for Adi....they have totally killed that basic empathy waali quality in her in the need to victimize her and paint Adi as the solo culprit for everything that has happened. This is a skewed and lopsided view of the situation and that is why it's falling flat for me.

Bleeding/shattered hearts wala angst can be so effective if shown well.....but makers have failed to show it dhang se from Imlie's side. GM is still fabulous in showing Adi's devastation and the total emptiness in him.....but ST seems to have nothing to work with other than playing this victimized brat version of Imlie jo bas gussa dikhaa sakti hai ab - no nuance left. I'm honestly so disconnected from this constant one-note anger of Imlie ki bas teeth grind karte raho in frustration about yeh sab kyun ho gaya and then look for ways to blame Adi for all this happening.....this is not who Imlie was - baith ke frustration and blame game mein nahin stew karti thi....she used to be solution oriented in a positive way. But now she is also just filled with poisonous frustration and lash out karna hai constantly rather than holding on to dignity in any way. Kyun hai itna gussa Adi se abhi bhi when he is supposedly the epitome of everything wrong? Malini toh seeks Imlie out to torment her but Adi toh padaa hai na apni barbaadi mein - phir bhi Imlie needs to come and tighten the knot on his gathbandhan with M? They are both totally beyond twisted now.....people can't just claim only Adi is twisted....Imlie seems to have taken it on as a challenge to keep one-upping his twistedness but strangely logon ko sirf Adi ka kiya paagalpan lagta hai while Imlie ki crazed harkatein are "normal behavior"😕.

Yeh trends and all are fine for logon ka bhadaas nikaalna but makers will deffo not care.....they seem to think Malini ko nahin rakh sakte relevant without continuing this status quo of dragging her like dead weight in Adi's life without really directly clarifying what all she's done.

Arey why do they need Jeeja for comeback? Randomly koi bua ya naani uthaa ke le aayenge to pad the "family" quotient on R side for Imlie ke future sasural ki tayyari😆.....Ts mein se kaat denge kuch aur logon ka patta for budget cuts....lol Nishu/Rupi better watch out😆.....Imlie ki "progress" will likely come at their job security ka cost😆

LOL Imlie ne bola kya ki use smothering lagti hai? 😆.....her mind is more consumed with kitna gussa/disdain karna hai Adi se toh kahaan se laayegi any bandwidth to think about aur kaun "smothering" kar raha hai😆

Abuse ko recognize karna/na karna logon ke khud ke haath mein hota hai.....Adi aaj tak nahin samajh paaya ki he is just constantly emotionally/mentally abused by Malini....while Imlie is also too busy being temperamental brat to know when she's being taken for a ride.....Adi se itna consumed rehti hai ki isko register hi nahin hota aur kaun iske saath kya kar raha hai.

Atif must be busy doing some extra fancy editing for his next Jaaniya clip I guess - isliye itna time lag raha hai release karne mein😆......and unfortunately all this expose Malini trending is taking away from him wanting to celebrate his Jaaniyaa success....tsk tsk😆
