See, they already did an actually strong and dignified version of Imlie the first go around of this in the first 100 epis.....she was in T house in an actually majboor situation with nowhere to go and she held herself with way more dignity back then....she had her own original perspective for tackling things - not parroting whatever some random person tells her. Whether it was tackling the Ts, or tackling SK/Mithi when they showed up for AM ki shaadi - Imlie ne sab kuch apna dimaag, apni samajh lagaa ke handle kiya....she didn't need some loser's FBs every two minutes to flash in front of her eyes to know what to think/say.....that is where this disconnect is setting in with Imlie right now.....she is lashing out at Adi using someone else's words, someone else's soch.....that is why it's so ineffective. She has plenty to feel hurt about on her own, and if she was using her own words/perspectives to retort to him, I'd still get it.....but they have literally turned an Imlie that was actually an original piece into someone who is a brainwashed extension of a guy who is himself a cheap copy of Gul's cliched MLs😆.....so ismein kahan se connect ya entertainment dhundein?

Also, on a side note....not liking the amount of heavy makeup plastered on her in this Simran look.....looks very cakey.

@ bold - Exactly - like the scene last week where she was talking to the mirror while taking Adi's mock interview, or even when she was talking to the T house door before she came to cover the shaadi - that pain was visible in her eyes and her accusations to Adi made sense from her perspective.

But like how Adi suddenly becomes a dumb doll when Malini comes in front of him, they have made Imlie into a parrot and brat whenever ASR is there, almost as if she is asking him - "sahi kaha na maine, I am parroting the right lines no?". None of her words are able to hit home because they are riddled with inconsistencies and insecurity that have been fed to her by DD part 2. So her words come out shallow with no meaning - like she is being used to pander to an audience which wants these empty dialogues rather than true feelings and angst, which is actually there between Adi & Imlie and need not be manufactured of forced, like it is being done for Adini & Arylie.

Somebody asked ST in the comment section what does A stand for Adi or aryan and she replied back saying “dharam Sankat hai”
She will think of Adi only but the insecure psycho will twist it to present it as aryan to Adi .. ugh .. more drag and the same thing back and forth.

see the thing is adi atleast uses his words even now the thoughts are injected in hsi mind by malini but he uses his own words Yeh toh ek dum ratt ke repeat kar rahi hai and green main aur hi parrot lag rahi hai.. who wnats to hear same words same dialogues nonstop on repeat.. again adi ne kab tumhe kamzor kaha hai.. adi isn't the one Saying ke TUM KAMZOR HO toh kahan se aagaya woh iske argument main.. just caz the other guy has been saying that to her regarding rona nonstop she projected that on adi too.. imli is having such a hard time spearating the 2 guys right now and that isthe problem.. We have alwyas understood her pain when she talks on her own.. as you guys said.. yeh ratto tota mode doesn't work... again i did not get kahan se aaya woh response all adi asked was How have you been so patthar dil which made sense from his POV caz she is acting like adi isn't even in the room.. and he knows imlie cannot unsee him to this extent toh chubhta hai woh

It all essentially started with her saying, "Aap hovat kaun hain"? you know in ways imlie ka baar baar aap kaun howat hai aap haq kho chuke is reminiscent of adi ka tum kaun ho too.. and tumhara koi haq nahi hai humpe from last year.. Except it was way better fleshed out if only they would have bothered to write it khudse instead of Copy pasting SM.. and tried to add coherence to it.. matlab she is the one now Telling hima gain and again ke haq nahi hai.. aaj bhi hum nahi aayenge aapne nahi roka humein but aapka haq nahi hai.. toh bhai phior kyon usse keh rhai ho ke roka nahi.. phir kyon tanrtrum hai dukh hai ke roka nahi

People here only fixate on how Adi didn't manage to handle the M problem in time....but Imlie is equally guilty of delaying many things and letting them languish.....most specifically the delay in getting the truth out which gave Malini enough time to poison her relationship with the Ts all the more and continue to make things worse. Woh sab ab Imlie ko yaad nahin.....lol she only remembers where all Adi didn't believe her in time and couldn't stop himself from getting raped by Malini.....waah.

And yeah in the current scenario, Imlie is again quite guilty of silence and ego at crucial moments....not telling Adi about her being kicked out of the hostel and her two days of homelessness....then giving even more ego and attitude simply over Adi asking her why she's living in the boss ka ghar randomly when she barely knows him.....all these selective pieces of info that Imlie provided when Adi asked her directly and then her still playing victim as if he abandoned her.....lol yeah this has now brought things to a point where even if the MU about Aryan is cleared, Imlie has let things fester to this point that it will be hard for anyone to believe there was nothing there. Well I guess it hardly matters cuz she will play victim either way😆
