Since I typed a whole POV regarding Aryan...tagging you in case you wanted to comment :)

I agrees with your points. But I want to add slightly my perception here. Adi is been like this before also. His anger or impulsiveness is his way of showing his heartbreak or his helplessness. When he feel helpless he has been nasty with Imlie. Imlie has seen his worst nasty behavior with her to the extent whenever she see him, she will tremble. Imlie fell in love with Adi knowing all his flaws very well. She can always see through the actual thoughts of Adi even though his words say differently. Today also is no different. Imlie can see through his actions. Adi also very well know Imlie is very stubborn and he has fallen in love knowing her flaws too. Yeah I do agree that Adi is doing the same mistake which he did before without any introspection. But real life also people tend to do the same mistakes again and again.

Kalini and marriage are like oil and water. First time around she was spare wife at least then he was doing mun mun jaap hating Imli for his plight.

this time he’s doing a tantrum still in love with Imli but his ego got him doing dumb stuff and Kalini is dense and delusional to believe she’s going to be happy with Adi. Marry him while he pines for Imli? A person who wants her boy toy at any cost. Will Adi get cold feet at the future he sees while at mandap and run for 5he hills leaving Kalini looking like a fool for the tv world to see?

This kind of echoes my thoughts except I got there about Adi a week or so ago. He is lost...and of his own making. He was influenced but he had plenty of counter influencing from someone claims to love and promised to protect and did not. He absolutely failed Imlie and had her do all the giving with no reciprocation other than token words and expression of feelings. All the support went for Malini. He does not deserve her but chose her instead.

100% agree with you there... He gave all his support to Malini... Imlie always got the short end of the stick.

Regarding Aryan, my take on reading the episodes would be that he realized his attraction to Imlie the day he lifted her out of the car and into his house. He has his own demons (maybe had a role to play in jeep's death and guilt +grief that is redirecting on Adi) is not looking for romance and called her a musibat and kept turning her away while still being attracted to her. Both at his house and temple - he tries to push away. But when Imlie gets her ID card - he is watching from the window - is it to see her reaction? The way he looks at her seems like he is falling further every time...when she explains her article, and they keep getting together by Sita Maiya. Then he realizes she is Adi's wife after the article is published. He probably decides its better to keep away from her with added complication but fate keeps throwing him at her..he sees her behind the car, the aarthi scene, and finally when he sees her in office. Even though he gazes at her while she is sleeping he throws her out and then regrets it and goes after her(I wondered here if there was something about water and his jeju - he looked pained) Then he is compelled to bring her home - no one can leave a girl in need like that in further trouble and walk away and he also has that dialog that says he did not want to bring her home. From that point at his home - she slowly is starting to learn about Adi and her situation and is falling more in love and is also by turn of situation trying to protect her against hurt and Adi. After divorce he now has more reason to protect and make her stronger. He did not object to marriage when his mom brought it up and also when she asked about girl his first thought was Imlie...again when they were showing him pictures of girls. I don't think he will easily tell her he loves her....as he know she loves Adi. Imlie is slowly relying on his support and a easy and comfortable relationship is building between them that has the communication that Adilie had long long ago before Malini's first suicide.

I am not sure whether Aryan is attracted to Imlie, but I did feel that he has feelings for her when he was on the slide with her with the way he was looking at her. Other than that, the random times he thought of Imlie whenever marriage was brought up. Otherwise, I am still confused on where he stands with Imlie. This episode when he at first refused and then decided to go to T house, only for Imlie, I got the vibe that (i think) you mentioned, of Aryan being the best friend who wants to protect Imlie from the boyfriend who makes her cry.

After reading your thoughts regarding Aryan, I was thinking and this is what I interpreted (I haven't seen all of Aryan and Imlie's scenes, so I could be majorly reading it all wrong),

after it was revealed that Aryan didn't know that Imlie is Adi's wife, it shows that Aryan's initial friction/ equation with Imlie had nothing to do with Adi, it was purely based on Imlie. Aryan was annoyed with Imlie and thought her to be a nuisances in the beginning,, and he wasn't doing anything to extract a reaction from Adi. It is the same till even after he found out she is Adi's wife. It is just that, they were thrown at each other's path. And I guess, he started realizing that Adi and Imlie are having some issues and maybe he tried to capitalize on that and used the chance he got when Adi didn't do the work assigned to him and Imlie went out of her way and did it. Even then, it had all been professional and he never crossed into their personal life. Even when Imlie questioned him... he was targeting Adi's career and not Adilie's marriage.

Then Malini came to meet him, and he refuses to get involved and goes so far as to warn her. Next day, Imlie breaks down in front of him and then Adi sees them together. Aryan's first advice to Imlie is that be patient and talk to Adi. Then Aryan finds out that Adi send Imlie divorce papers because he thinks they are having an affair. He sympathizes with her because maybe like his innocent jeeju (from his pov), an innocent Imlie was also accused of a crime that she didn't commit by Adi. And Imlie completely breaks down and tells him about her journey. He started seeing Imlie as one more person who was hurt because of Adi. And from then, he started interfering in her marriage and started guiding/brainwashing her.

His concern for her and he sees Imlie too weak in her love for Adi, and that is what brought Adi to T house and there he gets even further breakdown and all that Imlie had gone through and he sees Adi as the only villain there.That's when I think, he started empathizing with Imlie. Aryan is very protective of his family and now, Imlie also became an extension of it because she is suffering because of Adi. And now he has taken it upon himself to guide and protect Imlie from Adi. Then he now realizes that Anu and Malini are targeting Imlie, and like the last scene today, he jumps in to stand by Imlie from the sautan drama too.

One thing, I still haven't got clarity on is that, Aryan didn't know that Adilie are married. Is it because Aryan never intended to attack Adi's personal life, his intention was only to attack Adi's profession, so he never bothered to find out about Adi's private life? Is it because he was only aware of Malini being Adi's wife because that marriage was publicized? If so, is that why he recognized Malini immediately? I did wonder, whether it was because he dug into Adi's private life after finding out that Imlie is Adi's wife and Imlie was homeless, and found out about Malini. If that is the case, then he should have found out about Anu also but he didn't know who Anu was till she mentioned Malini, and his first reaction is that if I knew who you were I wouldn't have given you an appointment. He is starting to get fiercely protective about Imlie.

@bold Actually Imlie and Adi had good communication till the moment Adi stopped listening to Imlie regarding her concerns with Malini.

Imlie is also more free with him and has started treating him like a comrade.... I actually liked Imlie's convo with Aryan when she asks him why he was there, and he goes about random stuff, and Imlie is quick to catch on and asks him "Aren't you talking too much? I just asked a question and you gave lecture, baatein and udhaar but no answer😆"

I had a similar thought like yours before and I did mention it, maybe the issue at the factory was Aryan's mistake and Aditya wrongly accused the jeeju for it, and jeeju ended up dead because of Adi's article and hence Aryan holding Adi responsible for it.

They are highlighting the differences between him and Adi - he smart, observing, supportive, understanding Imlie. Also he got her worth so fast - in such a short time - Adi took ages to realize. And the way he looks at her is like he is falling deeper and deeper :)

This fits in with promo - he realizes his love hence tolerant of her tantrums when she does nonsense like push his car out of the window - protective of her and completely blunt to Adi with utter disdain of the way he treated Imlie

I don't think he is in love now, he is empathizing with her and sees her as a victim like his family and hence this tolerance towards her.

This is what I got from just watching and dialogs. I could be reading it wrong and Aryan could have been negative from the start - but that is not what is shown on screen, Makers can twist story however they want later.

Yeah, it is too early to judge... and by giving too little monologues to Aryan, the CVs can easily make him a villain. Only thrice his motives where explicitly stated regarding Imlie, first time, he thinking about bringing Imlie to his home, so it showed he didn't bring Imlie to his house to use her against Adi. Second was after divorce and third this episode after the convo with Malini, both times blaming Adi for hurting Imlie. So, Aryan can easily be turned into a master manipulator who was using Imlie through out or a straight forward guy who found a kindred spirit in Imlie. Like I mentioned earlier, I haven't got a good read on him, I truly find that his character is layered and the makers are slowly revealing layer by layer.

I had this thought, I think it was flowerhater who had predicted this... that Adini and Arylie will get married and maybe Adi and Imlie will have an EMA🤣... though I was thinking, what if Adini get married and after marriage PF happens, Malini refuses to give Adi divorce and Adi is running behind Imlie and trying to free himself from Malini. With Adi's constant grovelling, Imlie has a moment of yearning to be with Adi, and realizing that she might be still waiting to get back to Adi... she decides to move ahead and proposes Aryan for marriage, so that she never falls weak and start a real EMA🤣

I agree with you and I tried to still root for him for (I guess) about 100 episodes even after his inaction and attitude was ruining his marriage.

The thing is before, her pain used to affect him, but now, he can't see anything beyond his pain and innocent Malini. Adi is a flawed human but he is being nasty now and that too to a person that is actually innocent of the crimes he thinks she committed i.e affair, leaving him for a richer man and divorce. It is too much to see his pain when he has done worse things than what he is accusing Imlie of doing.

Imlie saw through all his words and actions when they were tolerable, but now, he is publicly accusing her of having an affair with Aryan, to the people who works in the same office as them, and who already questioned her character about the affair.

Thanks for tagging PPji. Not too off base, but Aryan's attraction to Imlie is so subtle and low-key ke pakad me nahi aati.

It kind of gets covered under the "protect her from Aditya" charade. He does feel something for her, par uske haav bhav se kabhi pata nahi chalega, ki haan bhai me ladki se pyaar karta hun. He was okay with pushing her away, even after he came to know that she is Aditya's wife. But his boundaries started blurring when he saw Imlie in that state with the divorce papers in hand, and she breaks into pieces. And he did not want her to. But still, he let her have her night, standing all night in the corner allowing her to release all that she had suppressed for a long time. And then his concern became more prominent, defending her in office, yanking the papers out of her bag for her to sign, holding her from behind when she fell and putting her in uncomfortable situations to fight her pain. His constant hovering is for Imlie to not fall back into that vicious cycle of pain. His "feelings" have been prominent since the divorce, not before that. Before it was subtle. Very subtle, na ke barabar.

No, it won't be easy for him to express his love, knowing she loves someone else. If this couple does take off, it will take a lot of chasing from Aryan's end and a lot of assurance from Imlie's end to make this work. Aryan doesn't look like the kind of man to share his woman, and the woman is also not the kind to share her man, considering the relationship she has just walked out of. If it happens, it will be a slow burn like Maan and Geet were. They are even copying name-calling. Geet called Maan DD, as in Dusht Daanav and Imlie calls Aryan AD, Akdu Daanav. How creative these people are.🤣

Yeah I understand. This is the Adi we have signed up and Imlie too. She can ignore all his hollow tantrums but what she should not ignore is his stand on How he is going to deal with Malini and the baby in future and where she will stand in his life. I am happy she is not ignoring and standing her ground. I will ignore and forgive all his mistakes if he gets clarity in this matter.

Lately I am not able to connect to this Adi even a little bit. He is a successful investigative journalist, and he hasn't even taken a moment to think/wonder, why he had to literally force Imlie to sign the divorce papers that supposedly she send himHe even went on to say "Mr. Rathore, you tell her then she will sign," why is he not stopping to think why Imlie needs to be pressurized to sign the papers?

Yes, they need proper clarity regarding Malini and baby before they get back together. Whether PF happens or not, if the baby is real, then Adi and Imlie needs to come to an understanding if they are getting back together.

All this hollowness has been created by the makers to butcher Adi. So if you ask me there is no logical explanation for this as the writing is so bad. But still we have to give credit to the makers as something is very compelling about Imlie which is not the case in any other show.
