But my grievance stems from the fact, that Imlie, who upheld her marriage with full faith with or without Aditya, was letting go of him and this marriage, it should have had the spotlight only on Imlie, not Aryan having her back there.

The sangharsh me aage rahunga, aur shanti me peeche wala situation was not fit for that moment. Any other moment I would have been okay. He has picked her up twice from emotionally taxing situations, but this one I wanted Imlie to own. Her apologies to herself were bang on, but thoda sa thanda ho gaya. Aryan kind of stole the thunder there is my issue.

I agree - the makers in a need to engage Aryan in the scene - enhanced his reactions. But for me his reactions seemed to highlight what Imlie went through rather than detract - since Adi, rest of T's and M did not give a damn about her sacrifices...they just listened...Adi chose to not value any of her sacrifices with his response, T's just cried did nothing, M smirked. It was Aryan's reactions that punched out for me the incredulity of all her sacrifices.

I don't care anymore...as it is irrelevant to Imlie's immediate life whether it happens or not.

I do think NDE will also happen and Aryan will take care of Imlie, grow her and fall in love with her.

Imlie will force herself to move on. Adi will spiral into destruction.Adini will not happen.

What I feel both Imlie and Adi have failed big time in their relationship. Adi is reacting based on the circumstances presented to him and Imlie is reacting based on Adi reactions. Both have forgotten in stead of reacting, they should respond according to their truth. For once if Adi instead of reacting, if he would have listened to Imlie for the last time, may be he would have understood what happened in the hotel room from Imlie’s side. Imlie for once instead of lamenting what went wrong she should have cleared the air to Adi on the things and should have asked him, if you still wanted a divorce I am ready to give you. Instead of that she allowed Adi to sulk in his weird imaginations.

I agree Aryan should not have gone to T house. But in the last couple of days - without meaning to - incidents have happened and he has protected Imlie when Adi was not there for her and instead thinking of how to get Imlie without having to let Malini go.

Surely when you save and comfort a person a few times, from tundras, homelessness, insults at parties, cab app, fire, rain/bridge breakdown - you develop some level of need to protect them further - so even though it was not ideal he followed her to T house. But when there and he saw the situation he did not make any further hula boo,,,rather listened intently to whatever happened to Imlie and seemed to take note of her POVs.

Adi has right to be upset? He has his ex wife with baby at home - refuses to let her go and is considering marrying her and he has a right to be upset that his wife is followed by her friend/ boss? Much hypocrisy here.

But then I think - do I really want Imlie to forgive Adi for being this fickle and obtuse. They could have patched up outside T house but until when? Sooner or later Malini would have done another kaand and Adi would still believe her over Imlie. Not having ASR there would have just dragged the story more with a similar ending. End of day Divorce happened because of Adilie relationship not being strong enough and primarily because of Adi's own mistakes.

ASR probably brought about the end sooner and put us all out of our Imlie abuse toxicity sooner. Thank God!

Also the episode would have been brutal to Sumbul without any support on her side. ASR provided that adequately - and also enhanced it with his 'taken aback' reactions to all that Imlie had been through. Adi did not seem to bat an eyelash over all the things Imlie had done. T's cried but offered no support.

If seen that way, then yes, jo aur der se hota, woh abhi ho gaya. Aur kheechne ki jagah, kat gaya.

Bold: This boils down to having total interference from both the Ts and Cs. They had no chance of a normal relationship with Malini and Anu around, none till they declared their marriage openly and still less chance with the elder T's then openly hating Imlie. If they had moved into their own flat somewhere completely alone - they really should have taken up Dev's offer here perhaps - they would have stood a chance. Too many cooks spoil the broth - there were simply far too many people about for them to stand a chance.

They should have stayed in PD, they were happy there, could be themselves and it would have worked. If I leave watching this story, which is likely this week, then like others before me, that is where I am mentally finishing their story, happy together in Pagdandya away from all city and family influences.

This was the whole reason I started watching the series in the first place - the fact that it was based in a village with country folk, and NO cities and NO big fancy empty cold wealthy houses with servants, which I hate! Most other series are set in these horrible dull homes and it was nice, I thought, to have something so different, but no here we are again, huge homes with sweeping staircases and rich or rich-ish families and shallow westernised city folk. Yuk. So the whole story for me has become pointless.

Yes I know Imlie wanted to go to college, but she could have commuted or gone home at weekends while staying in a flat with Adi during the week. They could have had great times together. But no chance of that now sadly. I know it is fiction, but some of these characters, Aryan especially and Anu too, are so dangerously close to real people I have known and suffered from the presence of - that the fiction is becoming too close to depressing reality. I don't need that in my life thank you.

Absolutely. Also Imlie should have told him to go back as she has come to settle things on her own. I also didn’t like the way she recounted all her life personal details including Adi sleeping with Malini before Aryan. He is a stranger as of now. I felt bad for Adi as his life is becoming a spectacle for which most of it he is responsible.

Imlie equally need to take the blame . Everytime Aryan open his mouth to provoke Adi , she is very silence same as Adi , whenever Malini bad mouth Imlie . Both also same same useless can’t protect their partners

That is what I am not able to neither this Imlie nor this Adi.
